Can-Am Outlander XT Style Bumpers Installation

Today I'm going to guide you through the installation of XT Style Bumpers for both the front (Part# 715004837) and the rear (Part# 715004920) of my Can-Am Outlander Max 650. This upgrade gives the ATV a meaner look and also matches well with the custom octane blue color scheme. These can be installed on Can-Am Outlander G2 models only, the front bumper being the easier of the two with the rear requiring more extensive work. You can support the channel by purchasing the front and rear bumpers via the links down below and also grab a can of spray paint to further customize your octane blue quad.

Thanks! The painted bumpers I would say are definitely what I get the most compliments on. With a combination of the matching handlebar covers it just brings the look together.

It’s cool to see how you’ve painted your bumpers. I did the same thing on my ‘20 Outlander 1000. It turned out amazing. I have 4 coats of industrial enamel on mine and it is incredibly durable. 6 months & no scratches as of yet. Good video!

@@thenarrowpathatvchannel4316 my bumper paint job has minimal scratches from being out in the trails but I have no complaints overall. But if I could get a shiny gloss finish with the enamel paint that'd be a plus.

I've saw in other videos where people sanded them down before painting them, did you sand them down or just spray paint over them?

They come from factory already kind of textured. So for that reason I just spray painted over them.

I would find a Rust-Oleum enamel that matches close to what you need. I would add a few coats of Rust-Oleum clear if I could redo them. But the paint is still holding up very well surprisingly.

Your model is considered G2L, so unfortunately it would not fit.

i have a can am 450 2021 Would it fit my atv?

Unfortunately this will not fit. This product is for G2 models and a 450 is considered G2L. They do provide different style bumpers for G2L models however. Hope this helps.

Or if you're referring to Can-Am part# 705004409, no those don't come with the kit. That would be an additional purchase.

Yeah but from my own fault. I've bumped into trees, shrubs, and whatnot while out in the trails. But nothing that a little touch up spray paint can't fix. 👍🏽
