How did you attach the hood piece that you cut out? 3M double sided tape?

The unit comes with a metal backing plate however I also drilled screw holes through the plastic hood and into the metal backing plate.

Awesome home modification on the hood . Instrument cluster shade. Your on something there. I'm with you on how that looked.. How about some feedback on your windshield after a bit. What height ,tint, easy install ? Thanks for sharing brother. Be safe
