Excellent no nonsense helpful video ! Man you know your way around that ryker and are able to get this knocked out ! I was a bit bummed out when I first learned about the CVT belt life, pricing, and serviceability. After watching you I feel I can change the belt faster and easier, and, you mentioned what I had hoped for in a third party improved belt at a reasonable price point. Seriously, this actually makes me feel better about my Ryker Purchase. The shocks are another Story..

My 2019 Ryker Rally and my son's 2019 Ryker Rally had 1000 km and we were starting to see problems with a CVT belt to be replaced (kicking, vibration). I spoke to the dealership and the dealer told me he was waiting for a BRP advice as this was a problem with several new Rykers in my area. I never got any feedback from the dealer. It seems that for BRP, this is something normal. I therefore understand that it is not wise to use the BRP OEM CVT belt. Thanks for your great video

You don't need to Jack it up. If you put the shifter between forward and reverse it will be a neutral and you can turn the clutch by hand. It works pretty good.

Awesome vids!! Plan on getting a 22 ryker in the spring. As you seem quite knowledgeable I have a question regarding the front suspension before I buy as I've been seeing multiple conflicting videos. Some people's rykers like yours the spring on the front shocks are on the bottom others the spring is on the top. Which is it? Cant imagine they can just go either way willy nillie but I'm not sure 🤷‍♂️

Did you change it because it was time or where you having a noise. Curious because I have a sound ony left side that sounds like a failing belt, but I have no code showing. And not the air intake, I took that off noise happens driving forward or reverse but not continuous. Great video. Overall you had the best video angles, lighting and very straight forward. I have been watching videos since I have had mine 2019.

Great video! I replaced my belt with a Gates Redline, and it is much thinner. Perhaps that makes it run cooler. I replaced the belt because it was choppy/jerky at low speed. The bike is used, and I have no idea how it was run. The old belt smoothed out and got quiet with more speed. After I replaced the belt, it made some funky clinking noises and is still choppy/jerky. It's a little worse than the old belt, and that's not right! Any idea what I should look at? Thanks!

I tried doing the method when you rev up and it should bite down on the belt, but when I try it, the traction control kicks in and stops it from going any further. Is there any way around this? I have a 2019 Can-am Ryker 600 ACE.

How late Ng have you run your belt for. Just curious how many miles you have gotten out of them.

My son replaced yesterday the CVT belt on his Ryker Rally (PBX-1312). There is a big difference compared to the BRP OEM CVT belt. When he moves back, there is no more kicking. At low speeds, it's smoother and at high speeds, there's much less vibration. When his Ryker was new, it had these annoyances. I also have a 2019 Ryker Rally with 13,000 km that has the same annoyances. Do you think I should also replace my CVT belt with a PBX-1312? Thanks.
