I've been so grateful for Caedrel co-streams this MSI. They've been so enjoyable for me to watch live, and when I haven't had the time to watch a full series I've always come to check out the YT vid to catch up. When co-streaming first started I loved it for awhile. Live analysis from (mostly) former pros, where the atmosphere is more relaxed, and they're not afraid to call out player's mistakes as well as call out things that casters miss / don't understand? Sign me up the hell up. I had gotten tired of the PG nature of broadcast, and wanted a more "real" take on the games. But then after some time it felt like a lot of streamers and their communities fed off each other's pessimistic / flame-y attitudes and jokes until it devolved into something that was just not enjoyable for me to watch anymore. It was all too over the top, too exaggerated, too focused on negativity for my taste. I understand tons of people love it and find it hilarious and enjoyable, so good for them, but it's not for me. And the worst part is it seemed like this culture was slowly seeping into the larger League audience as a whole and it often felt like it's *most* of what I see online now. So with all that said, it's SO fucking nice to be able to come to a stream / channel where I'm able to get the same enjoyment from co-streams as I used to (actually more tbh). As much as I love Caedrel as a caster, part of me hopes I'll be able to watch his co-streams during every international tournament. It's really gonna suck not having his streams and videos to watch when he's back to casting (though ofc I hope he does whatever makes him the happiest and is most fulfilling). So, yea I've loved the content and am very appreciative of it.

GG can hold their heads high. They accomplished what they set out to do. They said they just wanted to make it out of play ins then see how far they could go after that. They took a game off BLG, not an easy feat. And they were constantly getting early leads in most games. If they can work on translating leads into snowballs better. They will be terrifying

So much for adding 2 teams per region to give us more exciting matchups. The past 4 BO5s were just 2 teams from the same region facing each other, and 3 of those were a rematch of the Spring Finals in their region.

Licorice deserves a lot of praises for his performance at MSI. I feel like him and Huhi are the core play makers for GG. Totally love the aggressive play style they have. They should be proud. And although the results are kind of expected, they actually didn't roll over and die like some of our previous NA teams at Internationals. Great job Golden Guardians. Let's see if you can make it to Worlds after Summer. Would love to have you represent NA again.

Man. Even tho they got clapped by c9, which, tbh is to be expected even if c9 looked horrible vs blg...have to be proud of everything they did for the spring split. Everyone had them bottom tier in LCS rankings, and they started i think...0-4? Then gori came in and changed the entire team around, and they really started picking up steam. And THEN. They made it all the way to finals...and lost in basically a c9 stomp. people said licorice was the weak link on the team...and then he goes and solo kills both bin and 369 at MSI. This team just continues to defy low expectations set on them and are constantly improving. I hope they keep this up for summer so they can go back to another international event. They clearly improve with the strength of their competition..even if theyre not always wins.

True, I love Yamatos stream with the Nutsac because jokes are being left and right. Overall, really fun to watch from knowledge of the game to friends hanging out. Then when his co-stream video comes out, it’s only the kills and high light plays. I would easily watch an hour long video of Yamato and the Sac.

Haven't watched this yet, but I hope C9 win and that GG give them a good run and show them some things they havent seen before. Because realistically Stixxay isn't going to cut it against the LPL and LCK ADC's, his positioning and play especially in team fights is terrible against these regions and we are in an ADC meta (can't win a series when every single game enemy ADC is getting a massive gold lead either)... I think Beserker has a much better shot, no offence to Stixxay he is a good player but he's at his cap for this tourney, i think Beserker and C9 have higher potential they just need more stage games under their belt.

I visibly CRINGE every time I see Nidalee picked because that champ has been completely useless in every game. Just seems like an ego pick for Junglers to outfarm their opponents and then do nothing the rest of the game. Then along comes BLABER to show why LCK and LPL Junglers still think the champ is good. Blaber has been the best Nidalee and best Lee Sin in this tournament and it's not even close!

I feel like this match marks the end of the west (Or at least NA's) run this year. C9 us consistently lack luster at international events, and G2 has had too many dropped or close games to be confident in them. GG was showing a lot of potential, but they tripped over themselves hard this game. And if they can't close out a game against C9 they naeed more time to cook before taking on Korea. This is just my personal take, but honestly C9 imo holds NA back. They're very good at beating NA teams, but fall on their face as soon as they leave the LCS. Honestly its probably more of a "Suffering from victory" situation, but still, they should be playing better than that.

@@cyberkiller4291 MSI 2021 was the most embarrassing US run I've seen in a long time But, to put some numbers on it: MSI 2021: Failed to make Bracket, loset to PCS and LCO Worlds 2021: Made it to bracket, got 0-3'd, lost to LPL Worlds 2022: 1-5, didn't leave pools. Theres no doubt C9 is the #1 LCS seat, but in recent history they've consistently embarrassed us, and I can smell the 0-3 already
@mwbwyatt
@mwbwyatt Жыл бұрын
@@purplekey9330 that's because c9 is a hyper aggressive team, they're either gonna get early leads or throw the game completely. XD they've always been the NA team that performs the best for years, the rare exceptions being msi finals appearances by clg and tl. I'd argue that 2018 c9 making it out of THAT group of absolute death, and making it to semi finals is the most impressive NA has ever done internationally. In recent years i do agree they've not looked the best, but they have the pieces to succeed this year, if they can work as a team and fudge can get out of whatever rut he's in atm. I still expect GenG to 3-0 them just like they did at worlds 2 years ago, buuut. They're a team that can beat top teams and then throw vs the bottom tier teams. Especially internationally. XD
@candelalux1403
@candelalux1403 Жыл бұрын
Weird take man C9 are the best NA can offer and they are not good, it’s up to other teams to catch up and beat them otherwise you will just get stomped international i think coaching needs to improve a lot, high end league of legendes is a lot about how to move & what to do and that’s something you don’t learn in soloq so na & eu have to learn more about the game and kick ego players who don’t take it serious/don’t put in the work to learn what to do eastern academy system is much better as they will regularly change & import very good players from academy and top level players have to put in a lot of work to stay top level
