මමත් English උගන්නනව පොඩි අයට. මට තිබ්බ ප්‍රස්නෙ could එක එක දෙයක් කරා කියන එකට use කරනවද කියල. මං ගොඩක් තැන් වල බැලුව.එකෙක් වත් ඒක ගැන කියන් නෑ.. ගොඩක් English උගන්වන ලොන්තයො බොරුවට වගන්ති කියනව විතරයි. වැරදෙන තැන් බාවිතා නොකළ යුතු තැන් කියන් නෑ.. ඔයා විතරයි හරියට ඒක කියල තිබුනෙ..👍👍👍👍

And.. still got an issue. He could play cricket කිව්වම. ඒක question form එක තියේද. Could he play cricket කිව්වම එතකොට question ද polite permission ද කියල බේර ගන්න බෑනෙ..?

මේ තේරුම් දෙකම එනවා. ඒක context එක අනුව අදාල උත්තර දෙන කෙනාට තේරුම් ගන්න හැකියි මොකද්ද කියන්නෙ කියලා. Context අනුව තෙරුම් ගත යුතු විවිධ අර්ථ එන තැන් ඕන තරම් තියනවා මොන භාෂාවෙත්.

Can කියන්නේ පුලුවන් අවසර දෙන්නත් can යොදනව..You can go now.. Modal Auxiliaries සාමාන්‍ය ක්‍රියාපදයක් නොවේ ( අගට "S" .."ing" "ed" දාන්නැහැ...will can, can to දාන්නෙනැහැ)......උදා:- Can Will Shall May Must Could Would Should Might Cannot එකට දාන්න ඕනෙ..can not වැරදී මෙහෙම දාන එක.. ප්‍රශ්ණ කරද්දී can't භාවිතා කල යුතුයි..cannot දාන්නෙ නැහැ... Could එක භාවිතා කරන විදි 2ක් තියෙනව.. 1) can එකේ අතීත අවස්තාව ලෙස 2) soft form ලෙස..(අතීතයේ යමක් කරන්න පුලුවන් වුනා කියන්න could භාවිතා කරන්න පුලුවන් අවස්තා මෙන්ම බැරි අවස්තාත් තියෙනව)උද:- මට එක්තරා අවස්තාවක දුවන්න පුලුවන් හැකියාව තිබ්බා කියද්දී...ඊයේ මට වේගයෙන් දුවන්න පුලුවන් වුනා(බල්ලෙක් නිසා)..එවිට could යොදන්න බෑ..එවිට කියන්නේ 👇 I was able to run really fast.
