A fun watch. Guessing under pressure can be quite difficult. I’d have been thrown off myself, since I’d have eliminated any mutants if I got a “yes” to “are they human” question.

When questioning the power or cost, he should have gone with question is it above X power? That would have narrowed down the number of questions by half.

We laugh now but I bet we'd probably have trouble when the card in question could be any one of hundreds of cards in the game. He even got lucky with 2 2-3 cards in a row

Huge hint for 20 questions in general, rather than guessing specific numbers, guess ranges and narrow it down from there. Eg is it more than 3 power. Try halve the space whenever possible.

As a comic book fan of 35 years and a guy who worked in comics sales for 10 years this was painful lol, but I loved it.

Another idea, both pick a card to be guessed, both ask questions alternating and the first to guess takes the point of the round

i guess you can separate humans from mutants, might be easier but mostly to people who knows marvel comics very well like for example spiderman counts as human and not mutant while cable or domino are mutants

My stance on whether mutants are human or not. Humans: Homo sapiens Mutants: Homo superior Basically mutants are the next step of evolution and therefore could not be considered humans. I guess the proper question for human looking characters would be "Are they humanoid?" That includes most mutants, but excludes those like nightcrawler. BUT in an alternate universe this belief was debunked and mutants are humans that were born with abilities due to scientific experiments on humans. So in that case they are indeed humans, and the question "Are they human?" would include without a doubt every single one of them (so wolfsbane would be human). From what I found, mutants are humans who were born with the X gene. And I coudn't find anything that showed they are not human. This could be retconned so my official answer as to whether they are human or not is "I have no idea"
