I don't think it gets better than this. After watching this video, I was not only was sure of what I wanted to do, but was 100% sure of what I have to do! Darren dared me to take action, backed by the sheer power that I can!

Okay that girl at the end tho... She went from the most off key nervous singer, to standing there looking great, even a few dance moves. Just casually blowing us all away with that hidden voice. They all did great jobs at finding thier self. Awesome Derren Brown did this and made people acknowledge fear is not real. Neither is stress. Its just chemicals you create in your own head by thinking negative.

I think we can all agree that ending song was fantastic. She has such a lovely voice that's complimented by the instruments.

I'm always a bit sceptical of hypnosis (stage or in a video), though i think it's possible (and, if anyone, derren brown can do it) , seeing him do the quick induction thing sets off all sort of alarms in my head. i rarely get ill, the only time off work i've had in the last 30 years has been due to dentistry (which i appear to have little control over) and i joke that i take a placebo every day. my parents were spiritualists, and although i am atheist and a skeptic, some of the ideas of being able to self-heal stuck with me and i feel - although i just might have good health - that i have a certain amount of control over my illnesses, mild stress is the only thing that has worried me over the last few years, but i put that down to living with someone who is schizophrenic, rather than me getting ill. as an atheist i don't really put much store into death or the afterlife and i intend to leave my body to science, just in case there is something weird that anyone having a poke about might figure out.

Good video. My only concern is that Derren might be playing us on another level. Since there were way more that just this particular group taking the placebo, though populated with different people with different issues, who's to say they weren't all filmed just as much as this group was, but we are only seeing this group in detail because it was the only one where the majority of people were "helped"? In which case the placebo failed way more that it appears? Still an interesting video. By the way, Derren, love the "Happy" book and it's great to come across a fellow Schopenhauer lover. Reading Schopenhauer is like going to church. I put him in the top 3-4 Philosophers of all time, though one rarely hears him mentioned.
