I think drake should have provided receipts and proof on how he secretly fed Kendrick false info, that would have been the left hook that Kendrick didn't see coming and the fight would have been over, this sound like drake pleading his innocence case and IMHO it wasn't enough, I still got drake losing.

My thing with this song is I feel like Drake should have popped off on this song rather than this low energy song he gave us. You don't have the type of ammo he just gave and put it in a damage control song and then say you're done because it's not fun for you/worth your time anymore, hell nah, you go for the kill shot with it and be ready for anything else that comes. This song should have put Drake above Kendrick and left no doubts to even be had but now we are all sitting he waiting to see what Kendrick has to say and that shouldn't be the case

Mother I, sober is about Kendrick NOT being molested and his Mom didn't believe him because SHE was abused previously. Drake doesn't understand the text of the song he based an entire verse on. You missed Drake calling Kenny's sources clowns then turning around and using his Twitter follower's conspiracy theory about planting stories. Kendrick never named names or hinted at specific examples, but Drake referenced Millie Bobby Browns and Whitneys. At first glance it just sounds like a play on drug references, but why, WHY would you take the low-hanging fruit of that double entendre on a diss accusing you of being a pedo? Especially considering that the controversy over Millie Bobby Brown hinted at her & Drake's relationship being a little groomy if not worse. Is this Drake's Freudian slip showing? Idk

I agree with some of your commentary, but I would have rather talked like Drake did at the ending part of the song so K Dot could clearly hear me. Once again, I'm not a fan of either, but this one song, to me, cancels the last two because Taylor Made was a blow and then Family Matters, to me was the knock out punch. But Kendrick released so fast with Meet the Grahams thinking that it was gonna do something. So now when people listen to this one, they're gonna have to go back and listen to the other tracks and see that Kendrick didn't do his homework, he just released anything to get it out there. As far as the allegations of the pedophilia, hush money or not, whatever is done in the dark will be brought to light. And Drake is not excluded from that. I don't care how many people he may try to pay off. So I understand his angle, why keep going round for round, spng for song, if you don't have any receipts. And if the wife beating comes out to be true, will everyone treat Kendrick like they did Chris Brown? Something to think about.

I personally don’t think KDot will address it. From my research he already has an interview with the breakfast club addressing these allegations….he probably doesn’t feel the need to do it in his song since he knows it already been addressed, ppl do the work, don’t just take my word for it. I'm really not sure about Kendrick winning the war. None of the allegations (wife-beating, Dave Free, and him being molested in the past) were denied or confirmed. I think the p3dofile angle came from that one video with Tia Owens at Drake's concert. Tia Owens already said in her Instagram post that it was only for Drake's stage play and it was nothing back then. But not gonna lie, receipts from Kendrick would have been the rope for Drake. All I see from KDot's fanbase is the Tia Owens video and "he lied in the past, he's gonna lie again" comments. Both sides are just waiting for the other to double down and are probably waiting for that kill. but in the end its a rap battle and Drake got his ahh out rapped and out rhymed

Like I said before Drake had perfect angle to combat it...it wasn't long enough nor layered enough to overturn all the effects, but that is my opinion if you feel Drake won then that is coo too I'm just happy to witness history
