Since you ask could you do a piece about the salve Regina. I love our holy mother but “our life, our sweetness and our hope”? Shouldn’t we aim those compliments at Jesus? Could you clarify this for me pleas. Thanks

The 'reader' at our church preaches what's in the news! You don't need TV news in our parish! It's wonderful to listen to your videos, Father Columba, we Anglicans could do with a bit more faith and a lot less politics. God bless. 🌹

Fr. Columba, thank you so much for this. Lectio Divina is so difficult for me because I have too much noise in my mind and too many thoughts (maybe you could do a video on how to quiet the mind if you haven’t already). What you suggested in the video seems more doable for me. And thank you for being real with us - that you also have a hard time with Lectio and with trying the check the boxes in lieu of the relationship with God. It’s important for us to know that we are not alone. You are such a big help to me in my journey. Thank you so much! May God bless you abundantly.

This video was a huge find for me because I've always struggled with seeing the 'point' of most of the Bible. Some things are obvious, like he said, but a lot of it is harder. And I would get too frustrated to keep reading so I would quit. I love that I now have a sistimatic, simple method to do this, so it's more managable. Thank you!

Good meat for my soul today. Many of us are task oriented. That relationship stuff has risk and is much more complex. Following The unknown is scary. That’s why we admire monks and Saints. They overcame many obstacles to follow. All I could do today was listen

For me it’s not money, but I realize there are other things that I do this with. Vaping, overeating, judging others, being selfish. Realizing it has powerfully improved me in some areas, maybe even the ones I’d have thought I couldn’t change, the ones related to personality and personal relationships. But I’m still praying that god forgives my stubborn resistance to change he’s called on me to make, and begging him not to give me up for lost to things that call me away from him that I still haven’t managed to quit heeding.

Carla Mariela Leveling 0 seconds ago I also think that Jesus really wanted him to follow him as one of his disciples and was calling him to a different life and leave everything, so that he could follow Him. Unfortunately. I bet his decision is one he will always regret. God is merciful nonetheless. The man was striving for perfection and loved God, this is why Jesus invited him to the next level towards attaining growth in the love of God.

dear Fr please pray for me im going through perhaps my purgatory on earth and thats good Jesus has suffered so much for me and i not so please remember me at Mass so that i carry my cross which Our Heavenly Father has given me and persevere in the footsteps of my Jesus i hope dear Father you are understanding me I'll be going to confession this comming Thursday so pls pray for me im a sinfull man im trying to be penetent the sad part of my life is i Love God and yet i commit sin may the Holy Spirit allows you to know the state of my soul
