As a physiotherapist i can tell you that the improvised flossing at 11:14 was good, but I physically cringed and hurt at the kangoroo shoes part, people should not wear that even as a joke. If they discovered them during the world war, the nations would just drop them from a helicopter on the enemy territory to weaken their knees when people try them out

Great video and awesome running to the ginger ninja. I was inspired by Russ's effort to have a look at what Yiannis Kouros did back in the day when he ran some ultramarathon races in Australia. His 1000 mile 10.5 day effort is unbelievable. His insane endurance is shown when he was finishing a full day ahead of 2nd place in the Sydney to Melbourne races 1985-1990.

It should be able to, but you'd still need to recharge it after a while.

In order for walking to recharge them, they would have to *take* energy from your step instead of adding to it. Imagine walking on a reverse conveyor belt for an hour. It wouldn't be an efficient transfer of power so it would be a huge detriment over a long distance, not to mention the ~5 lbs added to your feet that's effectively doubled by the walking action.

I did one myself going on a mountain bike and traveling 24 miles in 4 1/2 hours. I had went to the dispensary in the town next door to pick up a quarter. My legs were cramped even before I got home, and I had to rest and recover for about 4-5 days there after making sure I stretched each day. That way a hell of a trip though.
