When they announced that we are going back in time to Cold War I was so disappointed to learn we will be using old guns but what I didn't know what that CW would come with Zombies. This was my first zombie game and I fell in love. So much so that I got the mastery camo which till this day I think is the best camo. Thanks for taking me back to memory lane. CW zombies was so much fun, all of the stories and details, they really did make a fun game.

Rampage Inducer turns Cold War into half the BO3 Custom maps where theirs endless sprinters lol, I wonder how hard it be if at round one you could turn all zombies to their max speed on older games how hard it be like WAW & BO1. Also Agree Dark Aether is so cool & should've been used more maybe the final map could of had the boss fight in the Dark Aether. Yeah I'm also annoyed at people not playing games between BO4 to Vanguard yes quality isn't always their but we can focus on things they did right a lot of Cold War mechanics are copy/pasted from Black Op 4 such as the Point system, zombie spawns per round caps, zombie health caps, armour, max ammo refilling your clip as well as all mags etc. I love Cold War for being able to keep rounds moving never holding onto a zombie for 10 minutes at a time to set up or do some EE steps, think large factor in this is that zombies models & the player models I reckon have been better optimised cause in older games it feels like bullshit when zombies swipe you & it's basically only a finger nail actually touches you but it counts as a full slap. In CW training feels great cause it's harder to get trapped or slide into a horde & instantly die. Ammo crates are so useful I hope they return I hate how in so many high round strats you are forced to use wallguns which often don't feel as satifising as box guns or wonder weapons. Firebase Z is fairly underated I think the lighting is amazing on the map with that sunset glow I can see the criticalism that CW maps have alot of Facilities however that's lot of zombie maps as a whole in WAW 3 of the maps are people researching 115. In BO1 you could argue all but Shang are Facilities. BO2 you have less Falcities than BO3 comes around the Giant, DE, Zets, GK are all again different people researching element 115. So I don't get why Cold War gets flack when lot of the games have done it. Mauer is a certified classic in my opinion love how it looks with the lights turned on & the PAP set up. Forsaken has hands down my favourite wonder weapon although a clunky layout it also provides a fresh starting room in general CW is pretty fancy.
