This manga story was sooo good! Ruby & Sapphire swapping character traits through their shared trauma, but still retaining some of their original personalities... Their whole love story... It's just so great! 💕

Your comment around 17:15 about Game Freak using their own mechanics is a sentiment I share greatly - I've been thinking a lot lately about how there's a lot of various mechanics and whatnot in the Pokemon games that barely get used. Held items, outside of Berries (and Mega Stones and Z-Crystals, when applicable) are scarce, EVs are only on Pokemon in a couple of games outside of the Battle Tower/Frontier... I know some trainers have TMs on some Pokemon, but one thing I wanna look into is egg moves. I was looking at some Colosseum stuff recently, and I noticed a few Pokemon there actually had egg moves on them. There must be another example of this *somewhere* throughout the series, outside of the Battle Tower/Frontier as a whole, but I can't think of one off the top of my head. Your comment on one of Drake's Flygon having Supersonic in what's supposed to be the second to last battle in the main game reminds me how, in the post game rematch, Drake's sole Flygon has 3 special attacks and Screech... which is the exact same as the other Flygon Drake has in the first battle, lol. Congrats on all of your accomplishments last year! Keep up the hard work; here's hoping 2024 is another good year for ya!

Ruby/Sapphire was such an amazing part of the series! Really cool to do this challenge in ORAS, especially for the Gallade! I did this challenge on Emerald and got Kirly dead by the Thunder Manectric on the rainy route outside Fortree 💀 Also find it really cool that you used Minun! Such a carry on my team, but it was actually Relly who came clutch to save my ass on the Elite 4. It was fun to take on Steven tho, with Rayquaza (they befriended!) and a Manectric (she used Wattson's Electrike that time...). Congrats on the year and keep doing these challenges, please!

An option for Emerald is the play H2K Battle Frontier by An-Kit. It's technically an anime hack, but I think it's the best way to do a Battle Frontier Nuzlocke as of right now.

The manga was supposed to be the anime, but instead we got stuck with a kids show instead of a show that had the latent potential to be one of the greatest anime shows ever made Edit: You cannot blame red for not getting the earth badge. He was barely clinging to his life against Giovanni who was potentially already one of the strongest trainers in the entire pokespe world.
