12:35 nope. If you'll notice he grabs the handle just before he actually touches it. If you're really really worried about it though, I think Luigi's height is just right for just his nose to hit the handle, which means no touchy the red :)

⁠@@VoidmercenaryBut doors don’t open if you pull on the door itself. The cross bore in the bore hole keeps it from opening without turning the knob. Luigi would need to turn the yellow(not red)knob to open the door. It just looks like he touches the door.

Not happening since you need the GREEN stars and most of the early game doesn't supply throwable objects, nor boomerang flowers (need to travel further to get that flower in the first place) to collect said stars. It also removes Luigi since checkpoints exist the same way as Mario and his red

I think the library books contain red, though he probably considers that brown. And the beat blocks are PINK, not red. Also, i think the others are correct about him toughing the yellow doorknob, and him stepping on the threshhold is automatic.

Fun fact: Depending on the language, “pink” may translate “light red”. Also, Japanese didn’t have separate words for blue and green until relatively recently. Languages are weird like that.

You only touch the yellow door know, ON the red door when entering, and you don't touch the door on the other side at all, so the doors aren't really an issue unless you run directly against them before opening them.
