It does make sense considering it was also stronger. It wasn't just 1 star, it was similar to meteor staff actually. Also I think that locked chests on floating islands is pretty fun little idea

@@TheLusion well I'm happy for you, but master mode is rather difficult for a lot of people. Even expert is often too much for some. It's not very helpful to talk down to people who aren't as good as you are at the game. Also I replied to you and not the original comment because your comment was effectively trash talking people who think master mode is hard, while theirs was just making a statement about their progress as a player.

Another example of this i thought of could be the upcoming rework to phasesabers. That's actually better comparison to the Zapinator. Idk anything about terraria's id system, so can't make any funny retorts about that. Valid point regardless. (Also always happy to see a fellow Kirby fan.)

@@jayminyoel7911 Why should this matter? He blatantly used many items that were not in 1.0 what makes you think "uhhmmm aktuawllly 🤓" is going to stop anybody from using an item with the exact same name with the same visuals.

@@gordonfreeman7187 Usually he admitted to doing it on accident or it was literally impossible to progress without them. The Night’s Edge and Volcano behave differently than they used to, but they still behave mostly the same and fit into progression, and have their original item IDs. The orange zapinator on the other hand is a Hardmode exclusive weapon with a different id. While the original zapinator was overpowered it barely does half the damage of the orange zapinator, and the zapinator bolts fly normally while the orange zapinator does whatever the hell it’s movement “pattern” is. If he managed to get an orange zapinator and somehow managed to convince himself this is indeed the same weapon the devs used to kill enemies while testing 10 years ago he could just breeze through hardmode since some people take the weapon all the way to moon lord.
