I remember the first time I came across this channel I thought "this is cool but it's not for me, too weird/bold". Here I am who knows how much time later, watching and rewatching every video, considering a bunch of these upcycles. I'd say I'm evolving nicely.

Love it as a dress! I think the only thing that would be weird for me as a resident of the frigid north is the difference of temperature from the different fabric weights. I think I would possibly double up the flannel sleeve side so that I wouldn't end up with one cold arm 😂

Omg yes when I was younger, Champion was the dorkiest brand! It was basic Caldor clothing (anyone remember Caldor??) I almost DIED when I saw my nephew decked out in a matching Champion hoodie and sweatpant set! Lol

I absolutely love Angelina's version better than the Monse Hoodie! Angelina's version gives options and is classy in a relaxed way! This is so DOPE! Love the color and pattern selection! I am soooooooooooooooooo going to do this. I had seen Jen Ashton( she reports medical stories for good a.m. America) wearing a verrrrrrry similar one a good while back.......reviewing my snapshot and this is soooooooo close and surprisingly easy. Looking at your finished garment........gives options for many p,aid placements so each one made can be a one of a kind........... Pulling out all those thrifted men’s shirts and planning mine now. I am a 60 year old fashion designer and I ran across this video and I just had to stop and tell you I LOVE THIS !!! Get it girl !!! YESSSS !!! I am inspired to teach this to my design students. I teach a class on upcycling and my teen students will LOVE this one. You can throw on some high heeled Denim boots with it as a dress and totally work this one

If you don’t have a serger, you can just use a zig zag stitch close to the edge.

The possibilities !! .. someone mentioned the different fabrics in the cold weather.. they said double the flannel.. I agree. I have a hoodie thats a little small.. its white and I just got the perfect flannel at the thrift store. Its aqua green, pale blue, light peachy color with ceam and white. I am so excited to make it..

I love this. I love that it works like a dress. Love that the buttons from the shirt work as decoration and a slit in the skirt. FIRE. Another upcycle I like as much as the original if not more. I could see doing that decorative top stitch everywhere. I'd lose the 2-4 1 quality, but I think it would look more deliberate as a dress. Already thinking about a couple of difficult pieces in my wardrobe that could be improved with this. :D

I'd like to see another with the ribbing on the bottom of the sweatshirt removed, simply because it's kinda bulky compared to the shirt fabric. Thanks for the inspiration!

You did a fabulous job. For me (the boring) I would just replace the sleeves ans add the shirt hem to the bottom. Or just to be even more sleep inducing maybe cover pocket pocket with the flannel. I’m just in love with the contrast.
