I have fixed few at previous job, if display works with no backlight theres a fuse to replace. And clean or replace connector if its liquid damaged. With no power issue with power board. If that doesnt work mobo is got issue. Vinegar is best for cleaning corrosion. No need to scrape pad

Software is handy, simular to altium with 3d circuit board view. How do you get schematics?

I think I'll go with "no" this time around. BTW I was looking for a chip, 1882TWF01 only thing written on it. I assume it's for a power circuit as the KVM had 12V instead of 5V put into it and now it's shorted out. I've come up empty on a parts search.
