First flight of this small F/A-18. After one failed take off run I just about got it in the air. Some trimming out and got in some fast passes for the camera man before a slow but untidy landing.
Things to adjust for next time include using a lighter 6S3300 pack so CG further back and correcting the tracking of the mains landing gear that was causing it to crab along the ground.

My friend has this with a upgraded motor and it's fast. It also sounds incredible because of the way it sucks the air through the intakes. They fly extremely well for anyone that wants one. But it's a runway jet not grass

How does it fly without the drop tank and missiles? Does sound absolutely brilliant.

No doubt will fly marginally quicker but not by much. Speed isn't everything. Looks quite good with everything attached.
