love how their essence is still there, but it looks sooo much better now, you did great! Also found weird how they made only one bathroom, like, not even a shared one for the girls?? lol anyways, thanks for making my university days a little better! ☺

Thank you so much Maggie, I’m glad you enjoyed the renovation! 😊 I definitely wanted to keep the personality of their rooms intact while giving it a bit of an update. Lol yes the bathroom situation is quite odd, especially the lack of towels which is pretty noticeable. I hope your days in college are going well too!

Yeah just use the basic one and shrink them so they’ll be almost invisible. But other than that I really enjoyed the video. ❤

The way you said early on you'd need to remember curtains in the front living room window and I was waiting the whole build for them to return. 🤣Love this take on the reno challenge!

Also here because the algorithm suggested it! I love the Willow Creek houses, but it is fun to see this one get an update. Was so pleased when you realised it wasn't the windows, but the front door that was throwing things off 😂 the final door you picked works much better. And as someone who only has base game, it was great to see you still included bg options.

1:33 you don't need to click pipette when you wanna copy object that you just put, you can hold shift on a keyboard when you place it, that make that you can place it multiple time (e.g. columns)

This build looks so much better now, even though it does not have much decoration. but i feel like you captured the sims personalities much better than EA did.

This was very well done. It still has that ea build vibe but overall looks much better. Feels very put together. I've seen some other simmers when they finish builds do a sims pov house tour. Like the tab and move around function. I've always found those fun cause you get to see the homes from the ground. That could be a fun suggestion to touring your finished builds!

Gotta say, in the first five minutes I thought there was a secret side challenge of only using cream swatches :P a very fun build idea! And the outcome was impressive! I’m gonna try this now!

Tiny bit of a hint: If you hold shift while placing an item such as a column it will immediately place the same item in your hand again, so you don't have to use the eyedropper tool every time!

Hi nope! Can’t say why I didn’t, I either decided to leave them off or forgot entirely! 😅 I noticed that when I first looked back at the challenge as well!
