Bro big kudos to you on 3 things. Firstly for being enough of a madlad to do this trip on a moped. Secondly for your message to everyone to just go out there and see the world, don't overthink it or overplan, I've done lots of adventures like this in my life. Finally for giving the guy from Mali your scooter and gear, it may not have been worth a lot but trust me it's a big help to him, he'll find a way to get it put in his name or his mate's name and get local registration.

As a Moroccan, I wondered if you had any issue with customs on the way back as you came with a bike and left without ? Usually you have to pay custom fees to import a vehicle into Morocco but maybe it only applies to cars. I hope it went well and you enjoyed your stay in Morocco !

Giving a homeless African man a 125 scooter on British plates with no licence or insurance (which is mandatory in Morocco) is a recipe for death or jail. Did you get his name and address on the V5 to send off to DVLA? 😂
