im not great at these brain teasers but i like playing with them. and looking over someone else's shoulder i spot possibilities i don't see when im the one doing it. sometimes i let my dad look at my jigsaw and pick up a completely wrong piece so i can explain why it's completely wrong because then I go "im looking for a piece more like this" and the right piece tends to appear when before i couldn't see it, or i go "no that goes somewhere over here" and place it in a spot i wasn't even working on or really aware of. which is building up to say that i spotted the potential solution of matching the two circles right when your time stamp at 10:50, but still wouldn't have figured that out my self until a lot more time had passed if i had the physical puzzle and was doing it alone.

So I know other people complained about the timing, but personally it gave me so much anxiety whenever the timer was going and you were just talking to the camera. 😅 There's another brainteaser.

The point was the fun. Is not competitive race, but is fun to watch both on same picture who try to sloved puzzle. Comments must be off. I mean no cheating

When you were working on that brainteaser and you first tried to put the black bars sideways and decided they didn't fit, I was like, "no-no wait, the outies might nest into the innies...." but I couldn't totally figure it out just by looking at it.

I would love to see you do a challenge where you do a puzzle upside down (as in you put the cardboard side together) and then flip it at the end to see the picture side completed!

I love that i finally found your channel and your the one who got me to like puzzles so much i used to like do the normal kids puzzles and when i found this amazing channel i like you know did more advanced puzzles and i actually finished these 2 puzzlers they took me SO long but it was super duper fun and thank you for making me like puzzles even more now like you dont know what my parents reactions were when i did the 2 puzzlers and now i dont go on the computer as much as i used to

I've been watching your videos for a while now and I am so happy to see someone who gets just as excited about puzzles as I do if not more haha. These brain teaser puzzles look like so much fun to try and do. I've discovered that my love for puzzles is very strange for how my brain functions as I lack the ability to create mental images which as you have said in the past is a key part of putting together a puzzle but it's still a huge passion of mine.

Tbh watching you or yesterday Chris Ramsay solve these just makes me super jealous. This was my first Yuu Asaka puzzle, I was really REALLY looking forward to trying my own hand at one, and I solved it right away. My husband had given it to me for Christmas and his only comment was, "well that was a waste of time/money". I would have loved to get 15 minutes out fun out of it. It's pretty though for sure. I'm going to regift it.

I watched the first 8 minutes, tried to think up how many permutations there would be, started to write a brute force solver to try them all, then decided I should just watch the remaining six minutes of the video. I sometimes approach brainteaser problems the wrong way. :-/

Here I am... Binge watching your videos. I used to always watch your DIY videos and really enjoying them (although never doing any myself). And when you talked about this channel I thought... Well I don't do puzzles that often (I did not grow up doing much). I try to have a X-mas tradition of doing 1, because that gives us something to do together and not be glued on a screen... Sooo 1 per year. And that started like 4-5 years ago. And I missed a year because 1 month old baby=basically no x-mas. And... I just keep watching you puzzling. Cannot figure out if I like puzzles now or just that I really missed you and your personality and just wanna watch you whatever you do... So yeah... Missed you Karen. Nice to see you again.

OK, I'm not really into DOING these brainteaser puzzles myself, but I enjoy watching you do them. I have a computer game called Puzzle Master. It's an old 16 bit game I can no longer play because I'm on a 64 bit computer now. I'm pretty sure this isn't the same company, but if I could find a computer game like it, I'd be in heaven. I could do puzzles with as many at 3700 pieces. I sorted them into trays. No lost pieces. And it doesn't take up space on the dining room table. Just LOVED it.

I liked this one because you could see the solution getting closer and closer at the end. Some other similar puzzles just suddenly end and you're like "oh wait is that it?". But here you could see "it" coming. Much more exciting!

At the beginning when you were explaining how they wouldn't really go in horizontally, I knew that had to be the answer somehow - vertical felt too obvious of a trap. But I'm glad you didn't notice since then the video would've only been a minute long and not much fun at all, LOL. Congrats on finding the solution! I'm glad your channel was recommended to me, I've been watching your videos all day.

The "only" 4 pieces can be placed in 24 different orders, but in each of those 24 orders, each of the 4 pieces can have 4 different orientations, for a total of 6144 possible states. (and that's just the vertical orientations, none of which are the correct solution...) Horizontally, the pieces have 8 orientations each, since they can also slide towards the left or right side, so another 98304 possible horizontal states.

I enjoy watching you take on brain teasers like this, but it would just cause me stress. However, you have inspired me to start puzzling again. I'm taking on easier puzzles due to limited time. And doing then for relaxation. A way to let go and not over think
