As much as I watch a lot of callums videos because he always makes me laugh, this is actually one of my favourite videos just for how interesting it is. I've dealt with sleep issues for years, reguarly staying awake for over 24 hrs and it is mental to see you put yourself in horrendous danger for 72 hrs. Always revisit this video every 6 months or so

Great video. Highly entertaining. I also work nightshift so I know a thing or 2 about extreme fatigue. I'm sick of seeing KZfaqrs faking 100 hours awake for views. This is the first legit video I've seen over 40 hours. I can completely relate to the dark thoughts and depression Callum experiences during this 72 hours. You couldn't fake how goosed he was after it. He was a broken man.

I started talking to the radio after 3 days without sleep, it’s insane what lack of sleep can do. I was tanked up on Ritalin though so that made it easier.

The furthest I’ve gone with no sleep I think was 41 hrs. I’d love to be able to stay awake for 3 days or even a week lol would help in so many ways

If you ever do anything like this again, make sure you’re eating HEALTHY. Staying hydrated and drinking 2 liters of water a day.

I used to skip a night of sleep once almost every week when i was in my early 20s. 30-40hrs of no sleep wasnt too hard for me, but I never forced myself to do 2 nights in a row. Seeing this makes me know at least I wont die lol but also big props to you my man. Your recording of whats been going on made me laugh a ton; the bond comments and your snacks/tea comments. When I used to do my all nighters it was playing some online games and definitely staying away from sugar and tons of food. Again, awesome vid, glad you're doin alright man!

When my father passed away I was having a tough time dealing with it. I felt like I didn't have enough time to show him how successful I could be in life, I was in college at the time. My grief ridden brain thought it would be an awesome idea to abuse my adhd medication (Adderall). I would take one every time I felt sleepy and that quickly led to me sleeping once every 7-10 days for roughly 6 months. I really wish I was exaggerating but I'm not. It took a massive toll on my physical and mental health. Lost 60lbs in the first 30 days, I wasn't eating. I did school/work online so I just sat in a computer chair, and it absolutely destroyed my muscles. The hallucinations, paranoia, delusions, and the pain from my body essentially withering away was terrible. After those 7-10 days when I'd lay down to go to sleep, the physical pain from my muscles relaxing had me in tears, definitely the most painful thing I've ever experienced and I have a huge pain tolerance. I'm pretty "fearless" nothing usually gets me "scared", but when the delusions, paranoia, and hallucinations started I was a completely different person. Most nights I would keep every light on in my house, closets open with lights on, and sit in a corner hearing and seeing shit. Got a flea bite at some point, convinced myself I had the bubonic plague, called 911 and told them that. That's just scratching the surface of the shit I experienced in that 6 months. I feel like that 6 months shaved off 30 years of my life physically and mentally. Still recovering from it. I do not recommend it, sleep is way more important than we think. Edit: After the 7-10 days of no sleep, when I'd fall asleep, I would literally sleep a whole day away. Like for example I would fall asleep Friday and wake up Sunday, really weird feeling tbh. How was I able to keep taking Adderall every time I felt tired? Wouldn't I run out? I did classes during the day (7am-6pm) and I worked (6pm-12am). My doctor knew this, so she prescribed me 30 30mg XRs and 30 20mg IRs. Before I started abusing them I would only take both if I truly needed to so I had a stock pile of extras.
