Can I Survive 100 Days Trapped Inside The Mall In Project Zomboid!? Part 1

Welcome to the first episode in this series! In this video I survive the first 10 days inside 1 building in project zomboid! My goal is to survive 100 days and take you along with me on this journey! Trapped on the roof of the Crossroad mall, I try survive against oncoming hordes of zombies whilst managing my resources in a abandoned zombie infested mall.
This playthrough will consist of multiple attacks from hordes on days 5, 25, 50, 75 and 100. The number of zombies will be increasing from 200 on day 5 all the way up to 600 by 100 days! This means I will have to prepare my defences and work out proper methods of defending the mall which is now my massive mega base!
For this video, I survive for the first 10 days and I show you how! I will be releasing further videos in this series when I can! The reason as to why it is broken up into multiple episodes is due to the fact that I am a uni student and are coming up to exam periods and cant spend a month on 1 video!

Supposedly in that mall 750 zombies would spawn. Still have nightmares lol. I was convinced my game was broken , no matter how many i killed, they kept coming. My melee broke and i fired a shotgun and hell broke loose! I chickened out and retreated back to my West Point base. Returned much later with 2 machete, a M14 and a truckload of ammo. Revenge was mine!

Yeah there is quite a lot of zombies isn’t there! It is a nightmare isn’t it and yeah they do just keep on coming don’t they! Hell always breaks loose whenever you shoot your shotgun! And yeah revenge is always good!! 😂

@@tailz588 well, as you can see from, the timelapse he gets other weapons and his bat gets repaired. then he becomes exhausted, but the the timelapse goes on and he's rested. he could have very well entered some cheat codes. can't prove it either way since the video skips time

My goal in this series is to kinda use makeshift weaponry as if I just used that shotgun it would be too OP, its more of a self restriction because it makes it more interesting

I don’t know if you never noticed, but when using bigger two handed weapons(crowbar, metal bar/pipe, baseball bat, etc), when two or three zombies are right by each other you can usually hit at least two of them at once.

Tip for next time at 2:40 is you hold shift when getting up you will get up faster

Great work, Nought! KZfaq recommended this to me and I'm quite thankful for it! The editing is very well done, the pacing is nice, you show everything necessary. I'm looking forward to see the rest of this series! A little recommendation: There is a mod that will allow you to gather the water-dispenser-bottles. Especially in runs like this, where you don't really have access to a lake or time to build water collectors it's a great mod that will let you store water for days, weeks even. I don't remember the exact name of it, but I'm sure, you will find it, if you're interested. I'm quite busy at the moment, but if you want a little, handdrawn profile picture of one of the zomboid-plushies or something similar, just send me a message. I'm no professional and can't draw very complex things, but we little content creators have to stick together, am I right? :) I would do it for free, of course. The only thing I want for it is your patience :)

I havent watched zomboid in years, and suddenly this just pops up in my recommended feed. Very nicely done, the editings pretty swell. Love the ability to hear the sound affects in game whilst speed up with tandum of the Rimworld music, skipping the monotony and showing the interesting stuff. Well done man. Even though im a good player...I WOULD NOT SURVIVE A 100 DAYS IN THE MALL CAUSE I WOULD GET SO BORED!(If i might suggest, get a mod that lets you play on computers or something like that, i have it but never tried it)

Thats absolutely nuts how many zombies you kill per day while also looting everything that isnt nailed down. Then breaking down everything that is nailed down for parts. :p Question on the shotgun zombie guy, does shooting a round off from a pistol travel farther than a shout? Or would that bring in WAY too many for even you to handle?

Out of curiosity, how did you cure your thirst on day 1 on the rooftop? I tried the same challenge and my character died of dehydration due to the lack of water and the flow of zombies out of the door

So to get ontop of the roofs I spawned in and used cheat mode to get up ontop of the roof! Sadly there isn’t a way to do that without a cheat mode or debug menu sadly

So I found it on the middle floor on south west side of the mall. It’s hard to explain however there is a staircase which you see me using in this video which you can use to access it. I show where I get the medical bed from in this video too

Yeah I have it turned off because on some series or playthrough I have 400+ zombies on my screen and having 400+ zombies blood across the floor hurts performance especially when recording :)
