ONLY Common Upgrades Challenge In BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - it's the infinite upgrade monkey... except all of the good weapons and stats are gone! Here's how long I can survive whilst being able to only use the common rarity weapons and stats.

As powerful as exponential is, if you have 30 upgrades of .97 attack you're only attacking at 2.5x speed

stacking multiplicatively makes it worse than additive when talking about % less than 100( like how the attack speed bonus works here), however, what does go crazy is the money multiplier, common money multiplier was usually around 1.05, which 30 of those is a 4.3 times money increase, leading to getting more upgrades

Yeah the attack speed upgrade sucks. It should be percentage increase of the attack rate as opposed to percentage decrease of the attack cooldown.

@@EATZYOWAFFLEZ I think it was that at some point, or something similar, but it caused the tower to attack so fast it would lag the game to the point of crashing, there was an update where the multipliers were rebalanced due to these kinds of issues and to prevent snowballing. Attack speed is tough to balance, you can easily make it extremely overpowered, or useless. I think this current iteration is perfectly fine tbh since even double or triple attack speed is effectively double or triple damage, which heavily benefits the constant +1 damages he's gotten. (also these are common upgrades, under no circumstances should these snowball into being extremely op)

mortar only works when the monkey is attacking, so like if you got a sniper and a mortar it would have inf range but only a mortar it enver attacks

Love the ancient monkey videos, probably my favorite lol also love the recent boss rush content. My duo and I made it to the 4th boss this go around, way higher kills per round and much better strategy

You should do a run where you choose one upgrade in the beginning and only get buffs for that weapon for the rest of the game

Some heroes and base towers are tossed into Rare, so naturally Common doesn't have access to them all. if it was only rare and below, then you'd see everything at base.

i liked this video a bit more than the other ancient monkey ones because you didn't do farming, its kinda cool to think of the ancient monkey kinda of upgrading himself with what he can get from the rounds instead of external aplication from farms

I would assume the glue is a 0-0-0 and that glue disappeared after 1 pierce. If it had two peirce, then it would have been buffed. At least, that would be my guess

IK you said you won't do another one with only commons, but remember, the first run is just a trial one. With what you know now, you would make better choices and make it further, so I'd say at some point, one more and then that's it :D

theres a very high chance ice could've ended up blocking other projectiles since not all his projectiles could affect frozen bloons. If he had a MIB, sure, but without that it's gonna hurt more than help
