Tommy Wiseau's The Room: but its an unironically good movie?
In this fanmade trailer for The 2003 classic: The Room, I've taken scenes from the movie and made them look as legitimately and unironically good as I can make them. What if The Room was good? True, The Disaster Artist and many reviews of the movie (e.g. Nostalgia Critic) have highlighted how wonderfully horrible it is, but is it possible to make an appealing trailer for it? Can I save the acting performances of Tommy, Lisa, Mark and Denny? Honestly, I don't think actors like Juliette Danielle, Greg Sestero and Phillip Haldiman do a bad job. But infamous moments like: The Room Flower Shop Scene, The Room What a story mark and The Room 'I did not hit her and The Room You're tearing me apart Lisa and Oh hi Mark do sour the experience in the most amazing way. Or what about all The Room spoons? I mean they are the The Room best scenes, for sure The Room highlights; The Room best bits!

This makes me wish I hadn't seen the Room already. That way I can make a real evaluation of what sort of impression I'd have of the film only by this trailer alone. Then we'd have a true idea of how effective this trailer is at convincing us that the film would be good. I wonder if there are enough people out there who haven't heard anything about the original and have a completely blank slate. If you showed this trailer to such audience members, I'd be interested to see if they do form an overall positive impression of how the story is presented solely by looking at this trailer.

Hello! I am one of those individuals you'd described as "not seeing The Room." I of course know about the movie's bad reputation but my impression from the trailer is that, this trailer made it look really serious and thrilling. There were a lot of more aggressive bits of the movie added into the trailer so it looks like the film would be very intense just from seeing the trailer.

Making a bad movie look good in a trailer is easy, just look at 99% of the schlock that comes out these days! But this channel certainly does great work with bad source material.
