What I find super interesting is how playing with a 'better' player can affect our own performance. JB playing with Tubes and Ange is always a very good scratch player. Playing with Zane (+5) his performace level is different. The only explanation is mental pressure of feeling you have to perform at your best to impress/beat/compete against the better player. Just saw Big Ange at Gatwick in security! I was to shy to go over and say hi plus I needed to start work, so hi Big Ange 😂👋🏻👍🏻

I really enjoyed this match and the 1-v-1 aspect of two very good players. A small bit of criticism is that I occasionally get a bit turned off by JB's over the top antics on the channel (overall JB is a big plus, I just got used to Tubes and Ange so it's a bit of an adjustment). However, watching JB in this format with a wildly engaging Zane on the course made me re-think my perception. Zane was wonderful to watch/listen and JB was much more tuned into the experience of "hosting" a round for others to watch. Kudos to all involved and this type of format will be a very welcome addition to the channel.
