@@frownyclowny6955 Nonsense. You can build with your lego's to your hearts desire. that is the whole concept of LEGO. Its danish for "PLay WEll" aka Danish "LEg GOdt" = LE-GO. And when it comes to LEGO technique its classed as 'illegal' if it puts stress on the elements used; these are avoided by LEGO designers as over time, they would cause the pieces to break or deform if its intended as a sale construction- example LEGO designer would not make a abc carbuild design motodriven kit that is centered aroundfx 100.000 rpm as the tires would simply fly oof with such forces. when its intended to be sold as construction kit, it need to be safe for the masses and be usefull as intended, but as always you can go berserk with your lego and build whatever your mind can imagine and repurpose your bricks.. that is the whole incentive with LEGO.. that you can repurpose your bricks and even suit it up with individuel things, that aint intended for a stand alone kit.. Its doesnt take a Phd to conclude that LEGO designers & backland are just as big a fan of this channel as everybody else, and likely bigger as its their passion - its f'ocking gobsmacking to see the construction channelholder delivers and the way he modify things to suit the purpose. Amazing, yes; unheard of or unusual, no. Consider the computer game of Minecraft. A fairly simple game of survival using volumetric blocks, right? People have assembled working computers using the power and logic blocks of the game. If you present a creative or innovative person with a basic building block the only limitation of what they might create is the universe itself.

Ive never really been a technic guy (aside from bionicle) but I am a mechanical and electrical / controls engineer and recently kind of started dabbling in light technic things for mocs. you showed that metal technic part supplier and I thought that was so cool that that exists nowadays and I never really thought machining would be incorporated into lego stuff. I never even CONSIDERED you could machine technic parts. That is so cool.

I broke so many technic parts from over torque. My dad gave me one aluminum driveshaft that he salvaged of something that worked EXACTLY right with Lego. ...then I started breaking gears and connectors. Lolol. It would be interesting to mix two different colors just to see if they will spin interdependently , preferably substances with different density so that they don't mix. Like oil and water.
@spaghettithetentac1163
@spaghettithetentac1163 Жыл бұрын
That could be interesting. In the right conditions oil and water will in fact mix. As a mechanic, I have seen it about 3 times. First was when someone accidently dumped coolant into their engine oil. The other two times were with a rear differential and with power steering fluid. Makes me wonder if his high speed vortexes would be enough to mix them. Almost tempted to try it with a blender.
@veronica9634
