its about lelouch and his childhood vs the kira case, I could say that if light yagami was given ayanakojis childhood he would be the ultimate genius aswell, that is not the situation we want to look it, its whether the character lelouch, with his experience and his unique chilhood, could solve the kira case.

​@@swiftal8312​ this was more intended to be just a fun little concept Because the way I see it Lelouch loses in most conditions because of his attitude (motives and Goals) (to use his own words effectively the King must lead) Also This was partially about a thought experiment about how to get him into an L Like position without just Radically giving him a Detective attitude. I ultimately do think he can win Its just that without circumstances Being in his favour it's not at all likely Unless we Change his character motivations because ultimately I don't see him disagreeing with lights methods or goals because his goals are similar which is why I tried to lean more into not just inserting him over L with his resources and Instead Reconstructing his character into a way in which the role of L Naturally grafts onto his character, The long and the short the way I see it Lelouch just doesn't fit if directly substituted for L due to his character being heavily reliant upon the setting and even assuming he was a similar person just lacks the type of attitude to go after Kira Unless Someone he Cares About is Hurt (like Nunualy in which case he Goes and makes light wish he was never born) and Especially doesn't fit in a condition where He Doesn't Have Geass But still Knows About it (unless we're Leaning onto Lelouch of the Resurrections Version whom without relying upon his geass could out stragise an Opponent who could Rewind time (Basically I'm looking at this from a character Emotions and Personality as Opposed to a characters abilities angle because he has the mental ability and analytical skills to solve the case But his Personality isnt aligned with Going after Kira especially with Ls Resources (though I honestly believe even without Ls Resources he'd solve it relatively quickly if he put his mind to it) And this final reason is why I came up with a different scenario which I didn't end up writing out but have decided I should for posterity and will be after I send this reply

For that other situation, We Open with Lelouch Playing a chess Game only as he's playing the final Move the Person he's playing Against suddenly begins Having a heart Attack. Whilst we cut to Light who just finished writing down the names of a group of lone Sharks along with other Criminals, For the Next part I am assuming he has Geass But is still in the Reluctant to use it stage. 2 weeks later We open to a Prison as Lelouch walks in using his Geass as Zero To To command all the guards to freeze and forget the past few hours after he leaves as he goes to the highest security prisoners cell and Orders the prisoner to follow the instructions written on a piece of paper as he takes the prisoner to a room setup with a camera and begins live streaming. We cut to Light at home as he sees the Tv Cut out with a person sitting in a chair with a name on full display (since he wants to confirm it for himself and see if he can Bait Kira in with a Strategy) as this person introduces himself as Zero, a World Leading Private Detective who's with the Support of the Police has Taken on the Kira Case (Using his Geass and Pre Recorded Messages to Act as his own watari when introducing himself to the police) and of course light takes the bait and writes Lind L Taylors name in the Death note. And then within a minute he dies of a heart attack as the Camera feed cuts to a masked figure who says that he wasn't expecting the first location he broadcasted in to instantly take the bait similar to the original L Dialogue. But after he turns off the broadcast we see that Zero Had already left the police and was watching the broadcast himself as Nunualy walks in and Lelouch immediately shifts to his regular persona with the camera off whilst we cut to Light who's Going on his whole I will become the god of the New World ending with the I am Justice Line without L accompanying him because L Isn't Hunting Light Zero is and the Entire Big Reason for Zero Hunting Kira isn't a battle of Pride for him it's a matter of an Interesting Opponent (he sees a chess board with the two as Players whilst light sees the city with the two towering over it to describe perspective) And this concludes my setup for a more Death note world Blend then a Code Geass Focused blend with L instead being a replaced By Zero whom either solves Cases in his spare time to obtain Ls Reputation or for a more Even Blend Uses usi Geass to Get into the same position as L whilst Acting as his own Watari Via His Pre Recorded Videos Trick

In this scenario though, Lelouch doesn’t have his geass power. Let’s say he does though, that makes the case much easier as I would imagine he orders Light to admit if he is Kira or not and record him doing so. Light wouldn’t be able to remember admitting that he is Kira so he wouldn’t take any hostile moves against Lelouch and from there Lelouch could give the recording to the police and Light would be defeated

But you could also imagine Light anticipating that Lelouch has some sort of supernatural power himself. When Lelouch asks Light to have a small meeting alone, he might anticipate that Lelouch is going to do something so he orders Ryuk to take away ownership from Light so he isn’t Kira in the moment. You can argue that maybe it doesn’t matter if you have the power to kill and that Light would still admit to being Kira when Lelouch demands him to state if he is Kira or not even without ownership of the death note. Lights plan could work though, when Lelouch demands Light to state if he is Kira or not, Light could say he isn’t because truthfully in the moment he isn’t Kira. This would make Lelouch’s Geass power now irrelevant to Light since he can’t use Geass on the same person twice, leaving Lelouch in a troubling situation where he has to uncover Kira’s true identity while believing that Light is innocent since he said he wasn’t Kira. Eventually Light could get ownership back with help from Misa and if Lelouch ever started suspecting him again, he could order Misa to kill Lelouch with her shinigami eyes. Now let’s say that Lelouch fully anticipates this from the jump, he likely will just order Light to die but I’m not entirely sure how he would cover this up. If this is a situation where Lelouch basically has to sacrifice himself to make sure Light is stopped by ordering him to kill himself, I’m sure Lelouch would do so since it would benefit society and promote peace. Unless Lelouch sees what Light is doing as moral and actually promoting peace since after the Kira incidents started happening, crime rates have decreased by 70% and there was overall less violence. In the end I think it depends on if Lelouch sees what Light is doing as just and actually promoting peace for the world.

Quite the opposite, cg is way more grounded and detailed series in subtlety and nuances. Lelouch’s realistically most accurate depiction of a polymath genius. Where as Light or Ls iq is just overthinking and they spoon feed everything instead of using show dont tell storytelling like Code Geass.

LL could solve the case in terms of he could figure out who kira is but could he actually prove light is kira is a different story but anyway list of characters who solves the kira case Junko puts kira into despair Akiyama psychologically abuses him Tokuchi scores a home run while solving this case Koji puts light in detention PJ violates while goofing off Conan closes this case faster than kira can pickup the death note Hal perfect humans all over the case Akagi spanks Baku eats him And I could continue but this is enough
