It took them a while because her scent is all over the house. Trying to hide where you live is easier because the dogs use their noses to look for you. If your scent is everywhere, it is difficult for them to figure it out. They are great dogs, though. Jasper's play bite at the end was funny.

I play hide and seek with my GSD all of the time. He'll try with his eyes for about 10 seconds before he goes to his nose. He finds me in less than a minute in the house every single time. As soon as his nose goes to the floor it's over. I can't even hide from him on 4 acres. His nose is unbelievable. I don't really believe for one minute that her scent being all over the house is why they can't find her. I think it has more to do with the fact that it's three of them and they are feeding of each other's energy and losing focus. Send them in one at a time and I bet they default to their nose a lot faster.

How do you not laugh? They’re such adorable goofs, the minute one looked directly at me, I’d be busting up.

Thier noses eventually found the newest and strongest scents of her opposed to scents left over the rest of the house. You could see them figuring it out as they went from camera to camera where they had been placed before she hid. Epic!

Love the sable shepherds. I find it amazing that they don’t find your quicker, obviously the rooms have a high concentration of your scent so they are relying on sight and sound. My 3 shepherds are the same.

Lol ... that was funny. I did that back in the 80's with my german shepherd dog. I hid behind a curtain. He came upstairs out of the basement, walked past me one time, went back to the basement door, then his nose went up in the air and within 5 seconds came right to me. I laughed so hard. Will never forget that.
