I am completely against involving retired players for hype creation. Players in the team like Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Namibia, USA, Scotland, UAE, Zimbabwe and Oman are of good talent. NPL should not focus on top players in the world. Instead, NPL should focus on good enough players. May be the players playing in the first class league of top teams are a good choice.

I don't think that it will be okay to name our teams like the teams of IPL like Kathmandu Capitals e.t.c... The names of our teams should be unique which shows the art and culture of Nepal.. 😐

Just follow the US model and have the IPL owners get one team each in the NPL. The brand of the IPL teams will upgrade the viewership internationally surely. I'm not sure previous models like that of everest premier league will have the same impact. Plus having ipl owners will allow us access to the parent teams, coaches, facilities, exposure. The impact will be massive!

The npl is gonna be very nice and good exposure to not only our main nepali squad but also the young talents playing in domestic clubs who can recognised and i believe We should not focus to much on foreign playere too much and give nepali players more chances like 8 of 11 starters must be nepali

Yes CAN is trying the same. With Nepal T20 gone now, CAN wants to create Nepal Premier League as a brand which will help develop Nepal cricket in the long run.
