Their voices go so well together. I vote for Poppy becoming a permanent member LOL. It took me a bit to get used to Bryan's vocals but I became a fan. This song is a new favorite.

Poppy’s scream at 2:38 is just so good, then the double tracked vocal with the two of them at the end works so well. Not my favourite KL track, but man it’s such a banger. Mission accomplished, you’ve adapted and overcome 😂😂

This might be the song that gets me into Knocked Loose. I haven't been into hardcore and Bryan's voice has not been for me but I CANNOT stop listening to this song. Every reaction video and on repeat on Spotify. Poppy's addition to this is top tier.

I had never listened to Knocked Loose before this song, and I f'n love it (A REGGAETON DROP!?). Poppy goes hard. My spouse never liked Poppy's "art installation" phase, as I call it, but we both think it's awesome that she's made a name for herself in the music world. I've heard Poppy described as "post genre", though I tend to like "genre fluid" better. Hope you're well, Steve.

Instant contender for top 10 breakdown in metalcore history. It’s so fresh, unique, and absurdly heavy. Also, that scream that Poppy rips halfway through it is so visceral. Insane energy throughout this song

The fact that Poppy asked to make do a song with them, and they wrrote this in 24 hours and threw it on the album that was already done is also very impressive stuff. This song is so damn good.

This is just one of those songs where literally everything falls into place, so that you stand a chance of appreciating it even if it is out of your comfort zone. I love the way Poppy quietly respawns into someone else's song and then is given space to merge into it cohesively and on equal terms. Bravo all round!

Bryan brought his little sister along and she's PISSED!!!! 😂😂😂 For real though, Poppy's screams fit in really well with KL. And the Reggaeton drum breakdown was unexpected but amazing!! Great track and I'm glad you liked it!

Idk if you've ever heard See You Next Tuesday, but there's a chaos about this track that reminds me of them. Also the vocal register, the punctuated dissonance, the general crankiness. I'm into it.

Been enjoying your bilmuri reactions so I came over to check more stuff out. I had a very similar outlook on knocked loose until I heard deep in the willow/ everything is quite now. Something about how they are writing now is so satisfying where as before I couldn’t get into it as much. I’d suggest checking those out! Also anything off this new album is amazing. Awesome videos 🖤

Poppy is like a gateway into discovering new artists and music genres for every collaboration she has done has brought attention to new bands as well her very varied music choices with genres that peek interest even in just Pop music fans have become curious. Poppy brings life back to the music scene that had become stale and formulaic . Poppy rocks!!!

I love that you like KL, it's interesting how musically trained people, in many cases, also love some of the hardest music out there. It'd be cool to see a reaction to FXMLDR by Thank You Scientist and the Bluecoats, a solar powered collab with a drum corps, who played their music that year for their show; it's immensely satisfying. Just a suggestion when it comes to Bryan's vocals, search on KZfaq and watch their live content at smaller venues, his raw angry passion and the crowds reaction I think will help you understand and like it more. The concert they played at LBD last year is a great example, Knocked Loose March 18, 2023.

The Drums in this Knocked Loose song is fucking amazing!! Pacsun is terrific as always (He's the drummer if you didnt know). From the double kicks in the start to the reggaeton breakdown, ugh just so tasty!! Really love the part in the end where the guitar and i think the kick drums went in sync for a bit. Bryan and Poppy just matched their energy so well for this song. A contender for my Song Of The Year!!

Oh I’m the same way. Love Poppy but never heard of this band tbh. Vocals are a bit different for me, not use to the more higher pitch. More I listen to this song though I like it so I think I just need to get use to it. Some reason I’m always like that with vocals lol.

I think this video actually helped me understand why they are so popular yet have such an aggressive sound. Don’t get me wrong I love them but I can help to ask how a band like this is blowing up to the level they are, watching this video was like actually seeing the process in real time of how they grown in popularity.

For what it's worth, I couldn't stand Brian's vocals for the first month or two. But now I think he's got one of the best screams across hardcore. Great reaction as always!

I think part of it is that Poppy justifies Bryan's vocals. Alone his vocals are a shock, but with another vocalist doing similar it seems less shocking even if they should both be shocking.

Not a fan of the male vocals, but Poppy was definitely solid. Sure they both have a similar tone, but there's a lot more character and depth to Poppy. The dude is just one note.
