@Grant Gorman Unfortunately they’ve done something like this in the past (hypnotized Link for the purpose of reducing food pickiness, specifically tomatoes) and nothing has had prolonged success. He’ll continue to be picky if for no other reason than to exert control.

Wouldn't work for me. I have anxiety and will panic. And there's only one person in my life that wouldn't feed me my allergies/sensitivities. My family kinda refuses that I have allergies and says to just keep trying. I'm not gonna keep trying things that hurt me.

It's when people say they don't like something that they have never even tried, which Link does a lot, that doesn't make sense. If you are looking at an unknown then it is a 50/50 chance of whether you like it or not because it's an unknown. To declare it one way or the other as an absolute is what doesn't make sense

I started eating tomatos because of Caprese Salad as well! I thought it looked so refreshing and appatizing, but I knew I didn't like tomatoes...but I took a leap of faith, loved it and been eating my tomatoes like a brave soldier ever since! As a previous picky eater, biggest thing that helped was taking cooking classes suprisingly. Being taught how to make complex dishes all with ingredients I liked (even sometimes ingredients I didn't) and it being a delicious outcome made me way more willing to try new foods. Now if I go to a restaurant I'm not going to order a new dish at risk of hating it, but if I'm with someone and they get something I've never had, I'll try it. Major progress for me

One of the things I didn't like was that they kind of abused the trust. At first it was all good foods that Rhett likes and trying to get Link to appreciate them, but then they tricked him with testicles which isn't something even Rhett would like.

I feel for Link in this episode. I'm extremely picky too but my main issues are textures. I can not mind the taste but the more I eat of certain textures the more I want to throw up. A lot of them I can't even begin to get down.

As someone who grew up with and still deals with ARFID, this was a nightmare to think about someone doing this to me 😂 There were so many smells, textures etc and Link did SO MUCH BETTER than I would but after all these years Im sure he’s also used to doing things he may not be too excited about. 😅

As a nearly 10 year mythical beast, its good to see Link's improvement! He went from nearly having a fear of tomatoes to finding them tolerable or "not bad". Good on Rhett for being a supportive friend!

If Link doesn’t like tomatoes because they are wet and seedy (beef steaks) there are tomatoes that have more flesh like plum tomatoes. I would also be interested if he would like homegrown tomatoes, they have way more flavor.

You just gotta let those tastebuds grow, man. If you continue to try things you don't usually like, your body DOES adapt. Especially as you get older, bitter things start to taste a lot better.

I will say Link is definitely way more adventurous than your average picky eater. Here's the thing about some picky eaters... it's a lot to do with the texture of things more than the actual taste. my brain just goes "this is ick" and I can't. we just like what we like and that's it.

I love this kind of thing. Link doesn't even try to consider why somebody would like it. He just sticks to what he knows. Link is a simple man with simple tastes and I simply love him.

Link was such a good sport and Rhett (for the most part) seemed to really supportive. Loved the wholesome chaos! (But gonna say I didn’t love it too much so that Link doesn’t have to keep eating foods he doesn’t like by himself and can be as comfortable as possible)
