and some mods also add earlier start dates, take Extended Timeline. If i had to guess, Paradox were just dotting their "I"s, and crossing their "T"s when they implemented feudalism, just to make sure there would not be incompatibilities with mods.

I saw that you can annex the whole HRE before 1500. You need to declare war to everyone at the same time and win. You also need dip points maxed out for unjustified demands. Then you release a lot of puppets because you won't have enough adm points, and you will also have 3792 overextension.

if lambdaxx can do a world conquest by 1480, then I think you can conquer italy by 1450. Very very difficult, but possible

Oh right, delaying Global Trade is one way, unfortunately they added fallbacks and any level-1 CoT is eligible by 1630. To delay it forever you'd need to make trade node without any CoTs the highest value trade node, which is possible I guess, some trade nodes don't have any uncolonized CoTs at game start, but it sounds super hard. It would also delay absolutism, so all the WC steps will be harder if you delay Global Trade.

With minimal savescumming it’s really easy tbh. In my recent Mazandaran -> Persia -> Eranshahr run I think I managed to spawn global trade, manufactories and industrialization (could be remembering wrong but it was 3 institutions) in Sari, which is a starting province in the Caspian sea coast lmao.

I once had it happen where colonialism and global trade spawned both in Sevilla, made for a pretty nasty trade province

You can probably cripple aragon before releasing and ensure you get released in a peace deal before the 5 years, and possible also get to then declare on naples before they get allies.

​@@LemonCake101Probably, but I think you can imagine the dissatisfaction of being punished for something that you aren't normally able to control. If anything, I think a modifier to GR gain would be a better solution.

I try to avoid multiple modifier stacking runs since that just invites debate over what is better Portugal +1 arty fire or Smolensk +2 arty shock or Bengal’s 20% arty damage back row or even someone with say 5% discipline and 15% fire damage. Best to stick with only one modifier at a time imo.

If you would want to reroll I would much rather do that with 20 capitals in italy or 20 center of trade for colonialism rather than hundreds of provinces in germany or thosecthat are protestant

@@LemonCake101 I meant it without birding any institution spawn (I'd even allow birding for other stuff). * Renaissance - extreme hard without birding, and best countries for WC are especially poorly positioned for that * Colonialism - just eliminate Portugal and Castile's coastlines and take exploration as first idea group, other colonialists usually take exploration late, so you'll get the institution by 1500. France, England, Mamluks etc. don't fulfil the criteria until much later, so you don't need to care about them, it will be done by that time. * Printing Press - full HRE revoke by 1550 is doable, but I don't think you can do is as Papal States. So you basically need to start as Aragon or Austria (even imagining anyone else pulling it off...) and take Rome before 1450. The Protestant part is actually not too bad - just eliminate all centers of reformation so no AI countries are Protestant, release OPM in target province, convert yourself by decision, truce break and force convert that OPM to convert their capital (you can convert back to Catholic at this point), truce break and take the province. * Global Trade - this is basically trivial even in a normal game * Manufactories - it's hard-locked by Printing Press and Global Trade being adopted. Global Trade is unstoppable, but I think if you can manage to slow down spread of Printing Press you don't even need the near-WC by 1650, as long as you conquer Europe. Not taking the Printing Press yourself for a few decades will definitely help here. * Enlightenment - also hard-locked by Printing Press and Global Trade but not by Manufactories, and I think at this point you'll need near-WC. Near-WC by 1700 is way easier than by 1650 as you get your absolutism. * Industrialization - you already mentioned all shenanigans, but at least WC by 1750 is no big deal. Austria is probably best positioned to do this, and Aragon second best.
