for me this is the best sport to test your strength without injuring your opponents face,body by punching or kicking.. just pure strength, skills and technique!

Incredibly specific, specialised strength. Men much stronger than arm wrestlers will lose an arm wrestling match with them. Hafthor Bjornsson ex World's strongest man lost to Devon Larratt.

@@aaronbarlow4376 If they lose against an armwrestler, they are weaker. Strength is always specific to a task. You can be strong in something and weak in another. A strongman is strong...in his discipline. Sure, it is a pretty complete discipline and strength can be versatile. But they still don't train every kind of strength specifically. Bjornssom probably has a much weaker pronator and other muscles (without even talking about muscle chain coordination to execute certain movement) than Devon.

@@shakya00 depends what you see as "strenght" . Somebody who is uber elite armwrestler probably won't be uber elite at something like bench press or deadlift because he doesn't prepare for such lifts. UFC heavyweight could also claim "strongest man in the world".

@@shakya00 So pretty much what I said. Yeah, if the armwrestlers tried to lift objects as heavy as the ones Thor does they'd fail. Strongman develops more all round functional strength where the pronator is not really used. Armwrestlers train a specific series of muscles and tendons/ligaments not used in everyday tasks..

I have been watching and been a fan of ARMWRESTLINGTV since 150k subs, and I remember schoolboy could not beat this guy. He’s a champion especially on left arm top in the world rankings at a period of time. No joke. Just shows how far schoolboy has come. 💪

Кто не знает, Юрченко (соперник Саши в финале) та еще машина, чемпион России 2022 года (насчёт 2023 не в курсе) в весовой свыше 110кг на левую руку, таких бугаёв заваливал, например Павина Дмитрия, который выглядел чуть ли не как Леван, с плечами и спиной размером с дом, так что то, что Саша ему проиграл на левой, учитывая что он еще не восстановил левую руку это скорее закономерность, но было бы интересно через годик увидеть их армфайт на левой, я уверен что там всё будет гораздо интереснее.
