Colorado QB and son of head coach Deion Sanders, Shedeur Sanders , is one of the best in the country. He's expected to hep turn this Colorado program around even more, en route to being a first-round pick. However, many fans think he is a Heisman contender in 2024, which would be a major accomplishment for his resume. Number one. He can't be responsible for his team's record. All he can do is do the best he can and the defense has to do what they do. Every player has to do what they do and do it well to put him in position to be looked at as the most valuable player. He will not need coaxing or anything once he has protection Shaduer 😅 Will not even be used to that. But I promise you he will get used to the protection and not running for his life. Really? Really quick. And I assure you his numbers will shoot up significantly. Especially his touchdowns, interceptions will go down, running game will improve and as a result of that his yardage inaccuracy will get even better. He's in a position where all he can go is up because of the updates and improvement to the team means he's not going to be running for his life which means he can really look down Fields and catch the very first open man. He can do that all day. I assure you he will get well over 4,000 yd

He won't win the Heisman simply because his team will not have a winning record, they won't be in the hunt for the conference championship, and they will not make the playoff. Like it or not, the team's success is a data point in the qbs evaluation for the Heisman trophy voters.
