The upper part has more detail, but it has less special molds like the Cobi has for small turrets, base of cannons, prints atc. My biggest issue is the lower part as I really hate gaps on this kind of building method. Also the Cobi has much better slick design. For the question can it beat COBI? I would say no, but as an cheaper alternative it looks really good.

It is a nice set, but I still prefer the Cobi ones, they look better in general and have better quality.

Something I like about Cobi is that they can make unique pieces designed for specific sets, unlike other competitors that mainly re use existing lego pieces. Also I think Sluban shoule have made the hull a bit wider at the center.

Macht einen guten Eindruck. Ich finde es gut, das Sluban hier mit normalen Teilen arbeitet und nicht wie Cobi jede Menge Sonderteile nutzt, das fand ich bei der USS Constitution auch schon gut. Ich werde in Erwägung ziehen, mir das Set demnächst zu kaufen. Das mit den fehlenden Teilen und den Stickern ist natürlich ärgerlich..., liegt vieleicht daran, das dies ein neues Set ist und die Qualitätskontrolle noch nicht ganz funktioniert hat.

The Bismarck-class battleship is for me one of the best type of warship ever built. Nevertheless, I have noticed that you use in your videos always the same soundtracks. I would like to recommend a new one: "Whacked Out Conspiracy". I think it would fit good with the build of military vehicles or warships...🙂

I like this version to an extent over cobi. One you can build tirpitz out of this one and the stripes are bric built. It’s also from what I see cheeper and smaller.

Interested in the use of large red plates across the stern in the Sluban model - can anyone confirm their use / accuracy? I’ve seen some images of other Bismark models with a giant swastika on a red background - is this what it is representing as not all models show this so was wondering if it is legit or not? Great video comparison video as always, though not bad I prefer the Cobi version - just looks sleeker and the integration / transition between colours looks more realistic particularly at each end…

I am sure glad I got Cobi version instead of Sluban version, it is little bit expensive, but it is definitely worth it. 😕😕

I personally still think that anybody except for MOCers can compete with COBI. Granted their ships are a bit blockier and the earlier ones had less details but with their building style they can really accurately mimic the shape of ship hulls.

ok, der Umbau zur Tirpitz ist etwas sinnlos ^^ Aber ansonsten ein erstaunlich schönes Schiff! Das kommt mal in die nähere Auswahl. Hab es aber bisher bei den chinesischen Anbietern noch gar nicht gesehen.

Im großen und ganzen eine nette Alternative....aber die Form des Rumpfes von der Sluban Bismarck (Drauf, Frontsicht) schaut bei Sluban wie ein Frachter aus....Und hat nichts mit der Form der Bismarck zu tun😉 das bekommt man auch (ohne Formteile )besser hin😉 mein Fazit ja ist ne alternative.....aber Die Cobi Bismack und erst recht die neu Cobi Tirpitz gefallen mir besser!! Yeah, I don't think I'll get this. I like the clever techniques this model uses, but it looked like you struggled a lot with them, especially when time came to plate the sides of the hull. Plus, those vertical seams ruin the look of the model. Catch me with Cobi's Bismarck any day of the week.

The detail on the Slubans is more accurate but the hull shape on the Cobi's is a lot better. Could do some customizations and combine both sets with each other lol.

I have the Cobi Bismark, this doesn't look nearly as good. Not terrible, but def not in the same league as Cobi.

in reality,tirpitz is slightly bigger than the BISMARCK but the TIRPITZ is the largest battleship built by the germanys navy,the kriegsmarine

So, compared to COBI's this set can some MAJOR set backs. For those who don't know what to look for, the hull is poorly detailed. Yes the major obvious colors are there, but the wave at the back is not (source, historical photos), the hull also lacks in design. The hull in reality is not designed to go fast, but the ship was slim at the bow, also the screw shafts are absent & the "screws" are what I'd use in a gearbox. Also design wise the hull appears to be structurally compromised out of the box and inappropriatefor her. It seems like they took everything off the hull of Bismarck & put it on a lower design class Hull (a battlecruiser hull is what I'm thinking of). Everything else was OK(-ish) if your looking for a building block based Bismarck I'd only advise this one until you can afford the Cobi versions (the class are two separate sets).

Es gibt kein perfekt. Man bekommt was man bezahlt. Und da sind 50 Euro für das Sluban gegenüber 200 Euro für cobi schon ein Unterschied. Natürlich hat Cobi auch mehr Teile drin. Cobi ist qualitativ auch ne andere Hausnummer. Bei sluban will ich immer wieder mal zum Superkleber greifen, weil die Klemmkraft ab und zu bescheiden ist. Ist halt so Was ich jedoch bzgl. Sluban 100x besser finde ist die Auswahl. Was hat Cobi zu bieten? Autos und sonst nur kriegs bezogene Themen. KRIEGSSCHIFFE, PANZER, KAMPFFLUGZEUGE. Bitte danke Tschüss. Sluban hingegen hat auch Roboter, Weltraum (atomic storm) und viel für Mädchen.
