I don't understand how "Covering Fire" doesn't have you immediately think of something shooting to cover you. I get not knowing lore ones, but "covering fire" is an actually term. As someone who knows every final smash, I know this is gonna be a painful one. Supernova was just embarrassing because Wadi and Coney both watched the Sephiroth showcase. 20 for 20. Kazuya was the only one that stuffed me up, but I got it after a second.

Isabelle's Final Smash is called "Dream Town Hall", but it's just Villager's Final Smash and deals more damage.

Had a feeling they'd get tripped on Zelda; Zelda used to use the Bow of Light, though now she uses the Triforce. Then Link uses the Ancient Arrow. 4) Covering Fire means the guys that are firing to help cover Snake's activity. His old Final Smash was simply Grenade Launcher. 5) Dream Home is Villager's Final Smash. Isabelle is Dream Town Hall, though it's basically the same thing. 6) Longest attack in RPG history. Supernova's iconic, guys. Come on, it's Sephiroth. 7) I believe Pair Up was a mechanic introduced in FE Awakening, where two units move together. Figured they'd get stuck on the actual duos though aside from Robin, especially since Chrom's a roster character now. [And WaDi, Disney cartoons are not in Smash Bros and never will be. Nintendo made that clear, best is the keychain.] 8) Black Hole and Mega Laser were pretty powerful in Kid Icarus Uprising, and Palutena announces these names in the Final Smash. 9) Glad Coney got Olimar. End of Day's the best he's got, anyone left behind gets eaten, then suffer from Olimar's horrible piloting skills. 10) Steve's House of Boom was based off prank houses in Minecraft. 11) I actually guessed Sheik. Hers was Sheikah Dance now I look it up, of course. 12) Mii Gunner. [Oh, Kazuya. Now I've lost my perfect streak.] 13) Corrin, had to think on it. That move is completely original to Smash, so it's tough if you don't know it. 14) It's not Sheik I know, it's the other ninja. Really should've called Greninja's move Night Slash or something. 15) Byleth's murdering my boi. :< 16) Coney and Vikki got tricked by "Chain" and guessed Belmont, WaDi got closer by thinking linking combos. Chain Attack was a special combo attack in Xenoblade Chronicles, though your party could only consist of 3 characters. Fiora shouldn't be here [concern of both lost consistency and spoilers]. 17) Ultra Sword was from Return to Dreamland, been Kirby's move since Smash 4. 18) Killer Wail is one of several special weapons in the 1st Splatoon game, mostly tossed out of Splatoon 2. 19) Vikki, you kept saying Incineroar. This is your time. You blew it. Malicious Moonsault was Incineroar's unique Z-Move in Sun/Moon, and the Smash Ball's power increased its power to Max. 20) Has to be Mii Gunner, Samus is Zero Laser (looked it up since I forgot).

It's so funny how half the characters in this game yell the name of their final smashes and these guys still get everything wrong

You know, some should try to remember how the final smash was, before guessing. Like that Vikki wouldn't guess Pit for Sacred Arrow, because if you try to remember what was Pit's final smash, you would remember it is Pit running over you with some horses, with no arrows in sight, and would know it isn't that. Another example would be that if you tried to remember Ice Climbers' final Smash, you know it isn't so much a team up attack, and more a giant iceberg.

I guessed every single one right almost immediately, and it’s been a little while since I last played with Final Smashes, but I can remember just about all of them by memory. But this really proves how “pro smash players” are so blind to big important parts of the game lol. It was painful to watch (though still laughable).

16, not bad. Mythra, MEAT NIGHT, and Kazuya tripped me up. I accidentally forgot to pause for full blast and when Coney said "Mii gunner" I was like "oh yeah that's it", but I don't think I would have remembered the Mii if I didn't hear that so I took the point from myself.

Isabelle doesn't actually have the same final smash as villager because her's is named something else since the building built for it is a town hall. It was very lenient to give Coney the point.

The green child png in Byleth's final smash is named Sothis, she is referred to as the Progenitor God in 3 Houses, Byleth's special unique skill tied to their sword The Sword of the Creator in 3 Houses is Ruptured Heaven hence the name Progenitor God Ruptured Heaven (Stupid name I know) The big damage ability in Xenoblade 1 is the Chain Attack, you freeze time then your party takes turns using skills 3-15 times depending on 1 part the connection between your party and another part luck. Mythra's golden light things in her Final Smash are actually orbital bombardments from her mech Siren that hangs out in space, when you're fighting inside of buildings or caves then the ability won't actually connect in the original game Sephiroth's Supernova is still to this day the single longest animation for a single attack in any video game clocking in at 1 minute and 51 seconds.
