It’s essentially a power fantasy. You can marvel at what the peak of the activity looks like against the lay person. Seeing the gap in both physical and technical prowess is impressive. Often, we only see high level play in Leagues. Thus when compared to someone marginal in skill they look way cooler,unless the subject is below the average lay person.
