I just love how he's vocal! My family rescued a female husky/Labrador retriever mix. Her name is Pepper and her colors are the same as Sherpa's. She's 2 1/2yrs old, full of life! We just love her!

Sherpa: (saying the quiet part out loud) Um, Dad, the vet actually meant for me to have the whole sausage roll for the liver enzyme test. Plus, you forgot to factor in that I'm getting lots more exercise now with my new larger garden. It's turned me into a puppy again. Just look at my lighter steps. Sherpa's face very quickly went from "I'm trying to ignore you for taking me to the vet" to "Really? I get the whole thing, right?" to "Ok, I'm fine with the smaller piece...." I think we all need to also remember, the occasional sausage roll is very good for Sherpa's mental health! 😁🤣

Jamie, it's in the Geneva Convention that pups receive sausage rolls after a vet visit. Also, check MENSA bylaws, since Sherp is their sole canine member. 😊

I'm calling it, that's NOT half!! Sherpa knows it, he's telling you too. Dad, if we ever split something halvsies, I'll be the one doing the splitting. 🤭🥰

There were 2 things that really helped our elderly german shepherd was fish oil supplements and evening primrose oil supplements. As she aged she got arthritis and her hair started thinning. She was slowing down so much and had a hard time getting up and down stairs etc. Once she started those 2 supplements she was moving so much better and seemed a lot happier when playing or walking. She lived to 5 days before her 15th birthday, which is really quite good for a pure shepherd. She had the fish and evening primrose oils for the last 8 years of her life and I'm convinced if she hadn't had them, she wouldn't have kept the exercise up as well as she did and that it lead to a longer life with a better quality of life. We only let her go when she suddenly wouldn't even get out of bed for a week, the vet then said her quality of life was gone and it was cruel to keep her going just to live bedridden. I keep Sherps in my thoughts for his continued good health and vitality. The home you've gotten him is sure to increase his quality of life for, hopefully, many years to come! Much love!❤❤

My little Yorkie had a dysfunctional liver! But he lived yrs after! Sometimes the liver will reverse itself. I know you're conerned. And yes, he is the most beautiful species of everything!

Poor Sherpy! I feel pity to see his paws with bandages. But it makes me happy to see that Sherpy has a loving dad who cares for him and pampers him a lot. ☺On the other hand, surely Sherpy was happy to make this test because he had to eat yummy sausages in order to accomplish the test requirements.😄😘🐕❤❤

At the point where it's 20 minutes before going back to the vet and you threw the treat I half expected you'd be at a park. Then you show the garden. I think a time of adjustment is in order. Your home and garden are absolutely amazing Jamie and Sherpa.

It always amaze me what a good boy Sherpa is, and how well trained he is, the way he waits at the van door for his dad to put the leash on, and how philosophically he took the blood testing. Well, he can`t stay long annoyed for that when Jamie show him a sausage roll !!
