Peds nurse here…..I’d definitely ask your pediatrician to do some labs, perhaps get a referral to a pediatric orthopedist and maybe even a geneticist. This is not normal, especially for a solid 2 year old who lives in the USA in an affluent family who has all the nutrients she needs at her fingertips. Toddler bones should still be somewhat flexible. One break can be explained away as a freak accident. Two breaks in a very short time (plus a third previously unknown break until the X-ray brought it to light) means prudent inquiries are needed to get to the reason for such brittle bones in a toddler. Please look into this for your sweet girl.

I would ask her Dr to make sure she doesn't have brittle bone disease not trying to scare you it just something you might want to look into

I hope to heck you all are canceling this Turks & Caicos trip as traveling with a kid with a broken clavicle who needs to wear a sling & absolutely not move her arm, amid all the jostling around that goes w/ traveling is probably not great for her recovery & I seriously hope you guys realize that & stay home since this trip isn’t critical at all. I know you both love your kids so much, so please put Stella first over a paycheck you’re not depending on to survive.

Not sure another "trip" should be on Stella's agenda. Free trip or not. If you want a quick heal, strange surroundings and her wanting to be active in these new surroundings would not be best for her.

I've never seen a child so chill after breaking a bone as Stella has been both times. I remember how even the doctor didn't expect her arm to be broken because she was so calm. Poor sweet girl. Let's hope she has better luck in the years ahead.

I ABSOLUTELY love how you and Lo are a team! Also I ABSOLUTELY love that Stella can communicate and is aware of what is going on. I guess I still see her as a baby but kudos to y’all for teaching her. A lot of babies her age or look her age don’t communicate and can’t tell you what is going on. So glad she is ok and also glad about the PP!
