On The Nanny, Fran loses the pearls in a taxi when they have a wreck. Annie and Dede find the pearls. Then Annie loses them again. That explains why Elizabeth Taylor is on the show.

Heck, ELIZABETH FEEEFING TAYLOR appears as herself on the show....and the dimwits at CBS still think they need to pull the plug? BTW, great bit with Ms Taylor, writing and acting.
