as someone who's been a stay since 2018 (i feel so old 😭), seeing ppl discovering stray kids and being so excited/curious about everything is so heartwarming and so much fun to watch! they truly stole my heart back then and i've only fallen deeper and deeper with every passing day haha, but i don't regret it one bit! skz are truly one of the most talented, funny, genuine, passionate, sweet and down-to-earth groups i've ever had the pleasure to get to know, and i'm sure you'll see those aspects of them as well the more you get to know them :) all 8 of their personalities shine so brightly and they're just one big family filled with SO much love, both for each other but also for us, their fans! i'm really looking forward to your future reactions to skz, get ready for the journey of your lives haha! once you start getting into skz there's no going back! :D

SKZ has very vulnerable songs that made me cry a lot. Changbin’s Streetlight is my ultimate cry song that I rarely listen to because I will cry like crazy, like crying jag crying jag type. Han’s Happy and Another Day are 2 other songs that made me cry. Secret Secret too. I think Han made the most depressing songs ever, they are so relateably sad and touching.

Thoroughly enjoyed your reaction! You may be used to Kpop groups that have fixed roles for members. STRAY KIDS just isn't built that way. When they debuted most of them did have one area that was more obviously dominant. But over time, other than the fixed roles of Bang Chan as the Leader and Lee Know as the Dance Leader, the others have become so good at everything that now they take on roles depending on what the song needs. And they're all still developing their craft so it is amazing as STAYs to watch their skill development since they are all so multi-talented. In that context, 3RACHA is not currently really the SKZ rap line. They were an existing rap group pre SKZ debut but they are now the producing team for SKZ, who all also happen to be the strongest rappers in the group (see 3RACHA by 3RACHA on the new album MAXIDENT as example). However, these days you are just as likely to have Hyunjin, Felix and Lee Know rapping on SKZ tracks too, and they all have distinctive styles developing. Because of 3RACHA already existing, STAYS started referring to the strongest dancers as DANCERACHA and the strongest singers as VOCALRACHA and now STRAY KIDS refers to them that way too, but really it’s pretty fluid e.g. HAN, BANG CHAN and LEE KNOW are just as likely to be singing, and more recently so are Felix and Hyunjin. And all of the members dance. Also on the new MAXIDENT album, I recommend the DANCERACHA song TASTE as another example of this: DANCERACHA wrote it; they sing/rap it; they are not only dancers, if you see what I mean. All the members have written lyrics for songs, although 3RACHA are the most credited (100+ songs each, the most credited 4th gen idols!) Roll on SKZ's dizzyingly genius skill development - so satisfying to watch them working in behind the scenes videos. Welcome to the enjoyment of being a STAY!

this might seem unnecessary to know, especially because it's a dark past, but since it's already been addressed, I just want to expound on how meaninful Han's lyrics are to me when he talks about depression and anxiety. 1. He already said that when he was younger and is addressed by the members, that he was arrogant and when he wrote at a very young age, most of it were hateful. Han said he didn't understand why he had written them, he was just spiteful at that young age (i relate badly to this). This is where his uploaded problematic and deleted predebut rap came about that resurfaced for the sake of garnering hate (it was racist and fatphobic among others). He addressed that song, acknowledging his mistake and saying he had wanted to write more meaningful songs rather than hurtful. So, that, for me, is very very relevant. Because that's a 180. That's a kid who was spiteful but is now writing songs that address vulnerabiliy like 19, Slump, and Secret Secret. He shows a good grasp of emotions as well just from indirect experiences of others like heartbreak songs. I can also feel the sincerity when he talks about depression, happiness, anxiety and learning to go through those emotions without breaking. I think that's how I relate with Changbin worrying about Han's happiness and continuing on with his passion for music. Han's intention to write meangingful lyrics while repeating his desire for people to feel his sincerity are becoming more and more meaninful to me because it came from a person who once hurt others as a kid with the music that he loved. He explicitly apologized, but it's his music and serious advices that tell me how much he means it when he said he doesn't want to hurt anyone with his music. (i just think it's because you ranted about not stereotyping these idols that I'm rambling about my affection towards Han, thanks for reading if you had the time) SKZ in general are very human. They made and are making mistakes. They show their vulnerability and show us that they are not perfect. They're just artists who wants to put out their art for people to enjoy. AS Chan said, a safe space. All the while also showing STAYs that mistakes can be addressed and taken accountability for because we're all humans, we learn and mature.

Recently subbed to your channel, and I know this comment will probably become lost in the shuffle - but I must say, this 'guide' was so wonderful - namely because it gave me more insight into the two of you. I'm a relatively Baby (Toddler?) Stay myself. I came up into KPop as a BLINK and still adore my girls, but something with SKZ and Stays just struck an internal chord within me. It's not about just watching and loving their videos, its' about the wholesomeness, inclusiveness and authenticity that they bring. So much so that I'm dragging my family with me to a concert next year haha. They are the first 'boy band' (I detest that term, as someone who did grow up in the era of 'boy bands') that I came to love. (Sorry Army, I did dip in and out of BTS and I love their behind the scenes stuff soooo much, but the music itself hasn't clicked with me yet). I can not WAIT until you dive more into their dance, especially Hyunjin ("Play With Fire", Studio Choom, "When The Party's Over", "Criminal"). He and his artist of the month were where I fell down the rabbit hole, and have happily lived the past six months. For the record, I STILL haven't listened to all of their discography, so this'll be fun to see new things with you guys. Anyhow - love your content! hiiii, I just recently found your videos on stray kids and just wanted to say that I really like them so far!! you both seem so so cool so I'm excited to see your journey getting to know them more (especially because I'm a newer stay too!) also I'm not sure if anyone else has commented about this, but since the guide didn't mention it for some reason I feel like this is important to note (especially for when you guys get more into the group's older content), but there actually used to be 9 members in stray kids. from what I know about this (I'm still a new stay so I might not fully know everything), there was another member named Woojin that was in the group too, but in 2019 he left for personal reasons and now is a solo artist. since you both seem really interested in stray kids and in checking out more of their content I figured this is something you should know in case you get confused seeing an extra member in older mvs and behind the scenes videos lol anyways I just subscribed so I'm excited to see your future stray kids reactions, keep up the good work (and don't feel like you have to rush with the reactions either, I know it's a lot of content so I understand if it's a bit overwhelming at first!) oh also I don't know if either of you are interested in looking into new groups yet (I assume maybe not since you're still so new into learning about stray kids) but if you are then I really recommend you check out tomorrow x together! they're a very talented group too, and I know some of the members are friends with stray kids members as well as a few enhypen members too (I think, I'm not really into enhypen yet so I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's the case lol), so I think you'd both really like them as well! :)

Skz discography are really diverse but aside from their title songs their b sides like Winterfalls,the view and lonely street have a special place in my heart. Winterfalls describes the pain of losing someone dear to you and trying to cope with that pain.i listened to it a lot when I was really stressed out with life and needed out. Lonely street talks about depression that sometimes hits too close to home but it's really good I promise you. I can't really explain The View because it made me sad and happy at the same time so gotta check that out 😂😂😂 but overall their songs are really good I promise you wouldn't be disappointed Btw I love your reaction video 🤩🤩

Hiii this comment will be very long, a long video need a long comment ! I even took notes to not forget things... I'll complete some stuff from the guide and talk about your comments. First of all I want to tell you that the guide is in the age order so : - Chan 10/03/1997 - Lee Know (I'll try to call him by his stage name but I might not) 10/25/1998 - Changbin 08/11/1999 - Hyunjin 03/21/2000 - Han 09/14/2000 - Felix 09/15/2000 - Seungmin 09/22/2000 - IN 02/08/2001 A little bit about their lyrics. As you've seen, they talk about a lot of taboo topic and everything. They have MANY songs that talks about taboo topic and even sometimes they talk about things that nobody talks about (not being able to choose, overworking,...). I'll talk about the lyrics a little more later. Now I want to talk about the Sub units. First of all the Sub unit is different from the line (rap line, vocal line) which mean that a 3racha member can be in the vocal line (which is the case). The rap line is Changbin, Hyunjin, Han and Felix (and Chan and Lee Know can be added too). The vocal line is Chan, Lee Know, Han, Seungmin and IN. Second of all, 3racha isn't a rap unit, it's a producing unit. They were an independant rap group before debut in 2016 (that's why they have other stage name). The group 3racha and the Sub unit 3racha are two completely different thing even if it's the same people. Lastly they worded something in a weird way. 3racha don't have 100 songs between the members but each of them have 100 songs. Chan was credited to 138 songs, Changbin 127 and Han 122. Yes most of them were made together but they still each have more than 100 songs credited. Now they are something that I don't understand in this guide, why do they mention something for one member but not for others. For example it was mentionned that Seungmin and IN are piano and guitar player but Chan and Han are too (and Chan can even play the ukulele). Or why did they mentionned Han and Seungmin being good in English and not Hyunjin ? He lived in the states when he was young. For Skzoo I'll tell you everyone so here : - Chan a wolf called Wolf Chan - Lee Know a rabbit called Leebit - Changbin a dwaekki called dwaekki - Hyunjin a ferret called jiniret - Han a quokka called Han quokka. - Felix a chick called Bbokari - Seungmin a puppy called PuppyM - IN a fennec fox called FoxY.ni. About their laughs, I have to say that all of them have contagious laughs but I have to admit that my favorite is Lee Know's (the clips here don't show it but his laugh is literally "ahahah ah~" and it's so funny). Now for what they said about the members (I might not talk about some members because I don't have any comment) For Chan you talked about the pressure he probably had. In some interviews (can't remember which one) he talked about the pressure of being a trainee for so long and the fact that the members saved him (it's his words). But he never talked about the pressure has a leader but in the survival show you can clearly see it (he was angry for little things because he didn't want anyone to be left behind). About the crop top thing and everything. Actually recently Chan talked about the fact that it's the company idea and he doesn't have a say in it and that some times he is not really comfortable with his own body. He sometimes talks about some diet he does or not eating at all (Felix do this kind of things too sadly) which is really worrying me. For chan's room actually he promised Stays to try his best and do it every week but now I feel like it became an obligation. Don't get me wrong I love Chan's room but the fact that he does it at 2am (in Korea) just after some schedule or after a busy day without eating (the last chan's room he did actually was after an award ceremony, they had promotion the whole day too and he didn't eat) or anything feels so wrong to me. But it's a good thing he even sometimes have guests from skz but also other groups (youngk from day 6 came once). For Lee Know. I actually think that this guide doesn't show that much about Lee Know, he is my ult so I'm kinda sad. But what I appreciate tho is the fact that they show his rap too and not just him singing because many people forget that he debuted with a rapping position too. You mentionned that his career is going step by step (that doesn't really mean anything but yeah English isn't in my mind anymore) and I actually think about that a lot and his career is quite impressive. For the fact that he was a BTS back up dancer, actually that made him wants to be an idol. He was a dancer because he likes dancing but being on stage with some idols made him want to take their place. You saw that he choreographed Dawn, he actually helps with choreography and is called the dance leader because he leads the dance practices and judge if they are doing the right moves and everything. Fun fact he is the one who choreographed Hellevator during the survival show. For Changbin, I don't have much to say. Maybe just as a fun fact he started as a vocalist and a dancer but he's vocal teacher told him that he could be a good rapper so he tried and now he is an impressive rapper. Also since in his part he talks about Mirror and Mirror's lyrics, I really recommend you this song it's one of my favorite song but nobody talks about it. For Hyunjin About the first fancam, it's actually his most viewed fancam and the most viewed fancam by a boy in 4th gen with 10 million views. It's from the 00s liners cover of Psycho by red velvet, Daehwi from abi6x was there and I don't remember the 2 others. For his choreography, you were shocked by the number of views of his AOTM (which is now 20million views) but Play with fire has actually 26Million views I think. For Han I have to talk about his songs as a huge defender of Han's songs. His songs are known for being really hard because it sometimes talks about his own feeling so it's quite relatable. For a fun fact about myself i'm someone who cries a lot but the time I cried the most from what I remember is When I listened to Slump (English version). I cried for at least 30 minutes and the next 3 hours I couldn't stop thinking about the lyrics and I would start crying again. So Han's song are to that point. For Felix and his voice actually. This guide talks about his duality but doesn't show case (n my opinion) the real extend of his singing voice and even his deeper voice too. They don't show him really singing like he does in Glow for example (a song from the survival show. Or for his deep voice, his rap in victory song or in 3rd eye are way more impressive in my opinion. For Seungmin, I don't really have anything to say. Maybe about the OST, he actually did another one like two weeks ago for the show Love in contract I think. For IN, I don't really have anything to had. But I just want to thank you in a way for pointing out how good of a singer he is. That's all I had to say. I just want to recommend you to watch some funny moments to see their link together more and even some funny moment about one member because some of their personnality wasn't shown. I can't give you links since I don't watch those but yeah ! I'm excited to see you react to more stray kids songs and maybe content !

New to your channel! Welcome to the Stray Kids universe!! Another group you should try is NCT. They have a few sub-units too. It has 23 members and y he sub-units are the main groups. Not the 23 members together as a whole. They are split up into different groups. Lol NCT 127, NCT Dream, and WayV and they’re working on expanding to Japan and the United States too which will be a first for K-pop. Lol. Stray Kids though is amazing and I’m looking forward to your content! :)

This guide is so great for giving you the basic information but it doesn't give you a real look at their personalities. It does some but not a lot. Like Lee Know is so savage and hilarious and sarcastic but you wouldn't really get that totally from this. So I highly recommend finding some videos of them interacting with each other. You will get to know their personalities a lot more :) Also welcome to the fandom! We are very well taken care of by Skz. I became a Stay during their Oddinary comeback and they immediately became my ult group. They are insane! Felix also took over my life. He's my ult. But all 8 wreck me on the daily (especially Chan and Lee know ha ha) Also I do recommend watching their reality show they did. It's not really how they were formed it is more about JYP making sure each of them were ready to debut. They used to be a 9 member group. They debuted as 9 but they are now 8. Lee Know and Felix almost didn't make it and it was soooo beyond heartbreaking to watch! Even though I obvs knew they were in the group now, still, watching it I sobbed like a baby. Especially when the Felix part happened towards the end. Seeing him heartbroken is the worst thing ever because he's such a happy little ray of sunshine and warmth. So def. bring some tissues!

The detail about Chan choosing everyone himself is significant, yes. That's not how the industry works, period. So he is the _only_ leader to have done this, and SKZ are the _only_ group to have been formed by themselves. SKZ were literally made as an experiment, and it started with how they were formed.

How old are y’all? I’m 31 and got into K-pop back in March after watching a super popular Korean zombie show on Netflix and someone on there lead me to another K-drama and someone from the 2nd K-drama lead me to my first K-pop group. Lol my first group was Astro and then BTS and then Super Junior, and then Stray Kids, and now NCT. lol I also like Got7 but never got too into it like I have with the other groups I mentioned
