Why do the LoFi pictures always make me feel a sense of nostalgia or yearn to live a life I have never seen

life has been very hectic these days, moving to another country for my study alone, adjusting to this unfamiliar weather, it is nearing christmas season which means it gets very cold outside and this weather specifically does not help but makes me feel even lonelier. it has been two months since and still hadn't got any friends. some days are great, some days i drown myself in tears not knowing what should i do to feel better. deadlines after deadlines and im still not quite sure what i want to do for a living. some days, thoughts of quitting are getting the best of me. thats when i hit my low. "why cant i just exist without worrying the ifs and if nots" "isnt existing itself is an achievement?" "why human needs to achieve something to feel better, to seem more likeable, to be praiseworthy". thanks to this lofi, i can shutdown my thoughts for awhile and just floating on this state of existence and worry-less. well i have to get over this feeling soon bcs i have a few assignment waiting for me to finish them. wish me luck ^^ have a nice day/night my lovely strangers. you are loved and you did your best. if its not your best, at least i know you tried bcs you are here. quit your thoughts and just live in the moment. just go to sleep if you need rest. i love you

To be honest with you all, I’ve had a terrible day today. Im not going into the nitty gritty, but let me just say, my day has sucked. HARD. This music is really helping me and calming me down. As soon as I pushed play on this video, all of my tears, fears and worries went away. I am now relaxed and I feel somewhat better. I want to thank you for providing this amazing music. I had an upsetting day that I went through classes that I don't like so I didn't listen to any of them, misunderstood a message in my group and ended up doing nonsense, some arrogant person messing up my mood, had a bad bowl of noodles, some random hater spitted shit on one of my KZfaq comment that I written months ago, and I wanna have a game nighr with my buddies so I can easen up the day but they ended up being so competitive. I left the game room early and...... ugh. I love you my lofi community. Thank you. I love how low the volume can be for this track - unless many other tracks are meant for "sleep mode", even at the lowest volume, it's still a bit too loud to sleep. Very soft and easy to listen to all night long. Thank you for uploading it.

Listening to this Lofi mix just calms me down so much. I had an A-Level exam today and I'm currently revising for my geography one tomorrow and it's helping me to focus and not stress so much. Lofi has got me through the stress of exams over the past couple of years and really just helps to improve my concentration and ability to study for longer periods of time.
