I was actually waiting for them to give the rest of the 00 Gundam's the MG treatment. They better include the beam rifle and shield for Nadleeh. Crazy we had to wait so long for them to get to rest of them though. Makes me wonder when they will get to the 2nd season suits. And hopefully the Thrones. Personally I am still waiting for an MG Reborns Gundam.

Just built mine yesterday. Painted the obligatory clear green on the gn condensers and all the supposedly grey stickers plus the eyes and of course the chin. Love the way it looks while holding virtue's gn cannons.

got this when it came out in 2008, I've only ever had a handful of gundam kits but this was always my favorite. it was the only kit I could play with without parts constantly falling off

I like the addition of the speed build, atleast for these older HG kits. Lets us get a better grasp of what we'd be getting into before going out of our way to get an older kit. I'm excited for the MG Virtue, especially to see if we're gonna get a MG Exia 2.0 afterward, but posing Nadleeh with the shedding armor will be badass.. and either way, the kit is gonna be rock solid.

I'm getting one of these. I actually love those double barbell hips. The only issue I have with it is that the socket inside the top of the leg doesn't rotate up, which would give us those splits. While I can wish for newer polycaps (or none at all) I don't hate the engineering. Definitely a painting kit, but I need practice with that anyway.

This is a kit I keep passing over whenever I do orders. Given what I've seen from this, everything I anticipated with the limited articulation looks about right. Still, it does have a nice look to it. Might grab one or two next time I do an order.

I have a friend who's been a long time fan of 00 and from him he said that the 00 kits was from a time where Bandai's HGs where starting to get hyper articulated. These kits are one of the few designs where the articulation technology for HGs were starting to get really better and upgraded. Like for example the super articulated ankles you see from IBO kits were first kinda implemented on the 00 Raiser and is since improved

I think something the 00 kits have going for them that will last the test of time is the way the equipment plugs into them, especially the shield, the usual ugly peg is masterfully hidden as an actual thing from the show. As for this kit specifically, I'm surprised the hair doesnt get in the way more, I was expecting basically the polycap plastic but that looks good.

You lucked out and got one of the few 00 HGs that included beam effects lol

One of my favourite HG. The build was nothing special but it looks absolutely awesome.

I’ve built the non-grade 1/100 and love that kit. I picked it up thinking we’d never see a MG and boy am I glad I was wrong!

I highly suggest using a green Sharpie marker to color those clear parts. It works extremely well pls try it

I think the Nadleeh is very underrated. I'd love to see a Planet System Gundam replicate this sort of thing (it fits so well, but Hiroto doesn't appear to have made any Planet System that resembles the bulky ranged powerhouse that is the Virtue).

one of my first customs was the nadleeh, I really hate rubber parts, so I grab some fine fine wire, paint it red, stick it to the gundam and there you go, a really good and possable ''hair'' for the nadleeh

I built mine back in 2009-ish. It has since fallen apart and broke in random joints. So cool looking though.

Would be nice to get a no grade 1/100 review of this kit so we could see the quality of one in the same scale

The 00 line is when they really started stepping up the quality of plastic and articulation of their kits. Crazy how 12 years later, they can still hold up to the current generation of kits. The 00 itself is still, in my opinion, the best HGs to date.

Funny that's the last gunpla I built, fairly recently. It's old but it was the only one of the 00 S1 High Grade I lacked (correction: except Exia. I own the far from perfect MG Exia) and I found it at a local model store. I mostly concur with what's said. Bronze tier with 0 effort but easily Silver tier when given a little attention. Color separation is very limited. I used most tickers but added some green (almost fluorescent, from a Gundam Marker I had) beside the GN condensers for more impact than the black stickers, some additional color correction on the back... or even underneath its feet (and in place of some red stickers), even if I usually am a "No paint" guy. I also spent a LOT of time panel lining every surface detail and then "smoothing" (sorry I don't know the English exact term. Attenuating, if you want) the panel lining so that it's just subtle enough to enhance visibility but not be too exaggerate. And if it took me a lot of time, it's because there is quite a lot of details. End results is obviously not perfect and far from what pro gunpla builder can achieve BUT I'm quite satisfied (so were my few friends who are into gunpla when they saw it). The detail-enhancing lining completely broke the "plain" point. It looks great even if it's standing just in front of my (panel lined) MG Freedom v2 And as the build itself is quite simple, it didn't took me an excessive amount of time over all. Worth the effort. - I'm far from a pro but have a collection of a dozen HG and as many MG or so, used to light panel lining and minor corrections (and occasional weathering). Started with Seed kits back around 2005 so my expectation level may be lower than some newcomers used to recent kits only.

This kit is the third HG I ever built, And the second I ever bought. I remember try to paint it, I ended up giving an incredibly edgy paint job, for wich It will never leave the box in eich is right now. I remeber having two main problems painting this kit. The white clear parts, that at the time i solved with a red CD marker. But worst the fact that after painting the weird proportion of the kit pop off.

The Beam Sabers are supposedly stored in the Nadleeh's knees, but because of the kit's original design, you can't even store them the way it should.

Pls do the HG Dynames next. I hope after they do all master grades of the main gundams they do the real grade version. I want an rg Dynames so badly. What can I say? Lockon is my favorite character from the series and his gundams are sick. I litterally cried while watching episode 23. And I also cried during episode 19 when lockon was abt to shoot setsuna bcus setsuna was part of the organisation who is responsible for his family's death and when louise told saji to go home and to pursue saji's dreams and also during saji's flashbacks of him and louise. Anyways i just wanna leave this comment right here even though it has nothing to do with the video lol.
