@@puny-tinsucks5102 Based on MacMulkin % Corvette sales and my position on their list, BG needs to produce ~6200 Z06's for me to get mine. At the rate they are going, you may be right. LOL I talk with someone much higher on the Z06 list and for him to get one BG needs to produce >50,000.

Don't forget on street tires on normal pavement, not a prepped drag strip on drag tires with low pressure

@@jeremywinslow7345 I spent a night trying to do a few runs. I did manage a few 2.9 seconds, but I can't do it every time. Sometimes it spins, sometimes it doesnt/ Not even sure why. Just going by the factory 0-60 timer on the dash

@@scottfowler4876 yes we do. This is a mid-engine car meant for the track. A DOHC breathes much better than a pushrod.

I think the Z06 will be more in line with that list.

Something tells me the C8 wasn't in the right gear and/or mode on the roll. The C8 has more power with less weight. On average it post a better trap speed too. My 19 GT is tuned with headers and I wouldn't be surprised if the C8 was still faster from a roll. The C8 has gotten into the 10's stock with a drag radial. No stock GT on a tire is doing that. I don't care if you have full suspension and the best tire. It's not doing high 10's at full weight. Nor should it be able to compete with a C8. C8 is almost double the money and a true sports car.

@Trevon Adams Ive seen multiple stock c8s at the track run 11.5 120 right around there.. He runs on factory street tires. 12.4 at 114. So its possible you car is just a slouch?

@@Zander13Productions No really.... You dont actually believe that, do you? This car has been out for 2 years now. We have started getting a couple over in Europe. Every single Corvette that is available in Europe are the fully specced out 130 000++ dollarcars. And when they are tested by car journalists with independant testing gear, the Corvettes never show any less than 3.6 seconds. While the Corvette onboard computer, keeps saying they do 2.8, and 2.9 seconds. So congratulations Corvette has made a car that lies to its customer to make them feel better about their life choices. IMAGINE if Porsche did that. They would be the laughing stock of the industry for decades.

@@captain_context9991 the 0-60 timers are real. Backed up and verified by all kinds of outside testing. If it was fake it would have been exposed already. You need to understand it’s about DCT, gearing and software.

@@Zander13Productions Pfffhahahaha. Are you saying TopGear and every other major car journalist dont know how to test a car beacuse its..... American? TopGear explained how they do it. In several articles. First America has different miles (and gallons too for the mpg tests) Secondly America quotes 0-60 instead of 0-62 which is what the industry uses because 62 mph is 100 kph. And then the huge difference is American cars have started to do a thing they call a "1 foot rollout" Which is when they start the timer AFTER the car has started moving. Which accounts for the remaining 8 tenths or so. This comes from american dragracing. But every drag strip runs their own version of what a 1-foot-rollout is. Just like every american manufacturer does their own thing. In the case for the Corvette, that 1 foot has become half a car length. And finally when americans quote their acceleration times, they do it in stripped out vehicles on a prepped drag strip which is so sticky you would lose your shoes walking across it. With a full can of Trackbyte sprayed on each wheel. Im really curious.... What on EARTH makes you believe a 400-something HP Corvette is faster to 62 than a Porsche GT2 RS with 700 HP?? A cheaply built, plastic and steel Corvette is faster 0-62 than a Ferrari 812? Whats wrong with you people? I mean... Seriously. What kind of omagic technology do you think a Corvette is made out of? @@jeremywinslow7345 the car looks like an exotic car but is doing mustang numbers. That’s honestly not that impressive in the year 2020. It’s a beautiful car but I personally think it’s a little slow. Mclaren looks but mustang numbers.

I have a 2019 Corvette and know it's not close to the new C8, but corvettes lose it on the top end they dont pull through the whole RPM, like my 2019, especially when you get up in speed. They fall flat. Even the C8s, I saw another KZfaq vid where an owner said the same thing. They pull very good down low but lose it on top end.

@@TheCdM1981 its a full second faster than a mustang GT in the quarter mile while at the same time completely out classibg it on the track. Granted the corvette is a different class of car. Also it competes and beats many supercars like McLaren and Lamborghini.
