Hey Michael, no need to be vulgar. Lets use "Arseholed" as an example. Arseholed is not English, it's British - I'm saying this as a British person (while also being backed up by google). Try it, google the word Arseholed, see what you get?

TheSphericalPrison why on earth are you talking about? We have English, Welsh Celtic and Scottish Celtic, they are all Languages. Then we have variations of that language ... Sidewalk is American, Pavement is British.

I love my Alexa Dot BUT I don't like the English Alexa voice!!! Unfortunately Amazon don't understand the complex but awful class structures in the UK. And have put a southern English voice on Alexa, which has class connotations. Basically it sounds too southern English and middle class for me and I hate it. In fact it almost sounds condescending to northern English and Scots. Therefore I have switched to the American voice because I perceive it as a neutral voice which is not defined by class or location.
