The first boss monster in yugioh was probably Summoned Skull. He’s received very odd support over the years, but today we’ll see if he can keep up against the modern yugioh meta in this Stone Tablet series.

They just weren't that close back in Egyptian times I guess. He even used to be an ace monster back when Yami was basically pure evil, beating Kaiba in game 1 and nearly pulling out the win against VHS Pegasus.

Honestly same. Blue eyes always looked kinda goofy to me because of it's lanky arms and massive head. Dark Magician just wasn't really cool to me in general.

Buster Blader and Red-Eyes Metal Dragon - _specifically_ its model from Falsebound Kingdom - were my favorite designs back then. Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes were aight, but I feel like the former would have looked better with a more iconic weapon and the latter would do better with a less... I guess rounded(?) head (the head shape looks cool on a Xenomorph because they lack eyes. With eyes, that type of head just looks weird imo).

For future reference to search the ritual spell more consistently, sending herald of the arc light to the GY let’s you add any ritual spell from deck to hand

The summoned skull ritual you couldve gotten out a lot easier if you just used advanced ritual art, you can dump the og SS since its a normal monster from the deck, then you get to summon the ritual SS, not entirely sure you could search advanced off of pre-prep or not

Not really. His whole problem was that he never drew into the two of them together, he was never lacking the material to Summon it once he did. If he had replaced all the Contract with the Abyss cards with ARA and had the same draws, he still would've repeatedly been without both cards in hand just as often.

That and he spends hours recording wins so when he gets 3 wins in a row it probably came with like 50 losses. With KZfaqrs and their videos only the good stuff gets recorded and published. So you never get to see the bad hands or plays.

I run Kash with dark magician, mire often then not I usually wind up summoning ebon magician since it's a lot easier to banish your opponents field. And after facing so many runicks, labrynth, twarlaments, etc... it feels nice to stick it to the other metas a lil bit

You should continue this series with archetypes/characters from the other yugioh series. 5ds would work great with the signer dragons and junk monsters

Great video! Diviner of the Heralds into Herald of Arclight can search out any Ritual Monster/Spell Card. I thought for sure you'd use Advanced Ritual Art for your ritual card as you send a Normal Monster (vanilla SS) from the deck to summon any Ritual Card.

I don’t play master duel but one card that’s good for searching out any ritual spell is sonic bird. It just lets you add any ritual spell from your deck to your hand so it’s pretty good for any ritual deck

Advanced ritual art lets you send a normal monster from deck with same level to ritual summon, send vanilla skull to summon ritual skull
