Hilariously serious. Supporting the local bike shops is vital. Clearly this was a staging shop for bikes waiting to be fitted with drop bars! (Cough cough). You and GCN should each run a stall at NCS or similar - I’d pay to watch it live. You’re a really excellent, funny, informative and talented team. That shop manager acts like every shop manager Ive known even the one I worked under. There snobs and think their mechanic skills are miles ahead of every one elses. For whatever reason the owners are always pretty nice people. The owner I worked for was incredibly nice.

Awesome thing about hardtails with short seat tubes is that it can last as long as its not damage. What i mean by that is that some Kid can turn it into a Dirt Jumper or Some Gravel like Bike at the end of its days.

Amazing. Do a trail centre next. 😁 Nothing beats a shop with ex-pros with the good know-how (along with trusty LBS crew) helping you out on your bike-related purchase and maintenance. Though now that I mentioned this, I'm going to my LBS where I'd send my bikes to the quarterly thorough check... And I just found 2 weeks ago that the mechanic who regularly does my bike was a road ex-pro, and a BMX enthusiast. Didn't know he was into BMX, as I've only seen his chromoly road bike in the shop's employee bike parking space.
