Can The Peugeot 3008 SUV Deliver A Good Driving Performance? [Car Review]
The 2022 Peugeot 3008 SUV is the smaller sibling of the Peugeot 5008 SUV, where the Peugeot 3008 SUV inherits the same engine, drivetrain, and suspension as the larger 2022 Peugeot 5008 SUV. In this Filipino car review, we take a good look at the 2022 Peugeot 3008 SUV to see if the lighter body and smaller form factor will deliver a better drive than the larger 2022 Peugeot 5008 SUV. Bit of a teaser: It doesn't. The 2022 Peugeot 3008 SUV may be smaller and lighter, but for some reason, the suspension and steering doesn't handle as well as the 5008 SUV and the transmission also encounters some delays in normal mode. The Peugeot 3008 SUV falls a bit short of the other premium subcompact crossovers in terms of drive dynamics, like the Subaru Xv and especially the Mazda CX30. The 2022 Peugeot 3008 SUV is well equipped in terms of features and safety, as long as you can get used to the quirky layout of the cabin. However, drive performance and cabin comfort is of high importance to me, and in this regard, the 2022 Peugeot 3008 SUV did not wow me.

I have this Peugeot 3008, which I purchased last March 16, 2022. It's a beatiful car indeed, and its looks is one of the reasons why I decided to get one. Unfortunately, all the excitement and proudness to own one has become a nightmare. My unit has engine issues, it dies and does not accelerate. My car was in the casa for almost 3 months for a fuel tank system replacement. Parts were imported and delivery was so delayed. One month after the repair (Sept 10) , my car was towed again back to the casa because the engine issue is back. After Sales of Peugeot is really bad, it will really test your parience. Be warned, if you want to switch to Peugeot.

Most carmaker spare parts now have delays due to supply chain disruptions. Seems that your car can qualify under the Lemon law. Hope it gets resolved soon.

The Best Peugeot SUV in the market is the 2008. Cheaper by half million than the 3008. Plus better Good looking design that really mimics the Lion Peugeot brand logo.

Very nice po at na review nyo Peugeot haha, english kanga lang dito ^_^, I really love the I cockpit like aircraft, unang lumabas noon lambo eh ahah, den eto peugeot before nag labasan yung magagandang daskboard dito sa pinas ng mga ibang brand, dito ko din sa peugeot unang nakita yung adaptive cruise control! very nice

Most of the complainers are from rival dealers. Just found out today when I had my Peugeot serviced.. met a vlogger and some dealers pala are requesting to provide bad review to other cars and some of those who had "problem" with Peugeot are mostly agents of rival dealer, mostly Chinese car agents.

But the Peugeot 2008 however, it has a PureTech gasoline motor instead of Turbo High-Pressure motor.

The 3008 is a rather quirky car. Not only in the form of that Playstation steering wheel but also in the way you operate all the controls i.e. the cruise control stalk is hidden out of view and, despite having those nice piano buttons you still have to keep poking at the screen and fiddle with the menus even to operate the basic stuff such as the air conditioning. Not a car you'd toss the remote to a friend for him to drive the car in a hurry coz he will really need to spend some time figuring it out first. The right hand drive conversion also comes at the severe expense of the glove compartment space, rendering it almost useless. The panoramic roof is awesome although it eats into the headroom by some 2-3 inches. But the unusual cockpit design still puts a smile on your face 5 years on, plus the ride and handling are truly exceptional for an SUV, and ultimately that's what you buy this car for.

The Cruise control stalk is exactly where it should be. All done by feel while your hands remain on the wheel - has been like this for about 15 years . Takes about 1 minute to work it out. Agree re climate control- I always set my climate control before I move off.

hi there. 🙏 you are my source for familiarize myself with the chinese auto offering. I know you like chinese suvs/ cross over. This review on 3008 is was done quite poorly . 😒 you keep saying like 5008 !! 3008 actually is the original ... actualy 5008 is the enlarged copy of 3008 !! In fact the engine and transmission you are talk about in 5008, I have it in my original 2008 in Tehran !!!!!! yes, 5008 needs a lot more; may be chargeable electric motor to make the power of 5008 to around 265 bhp. I know with the size of your family and your enjoying all the bells and whisles of let say Tiago 8 pro, your choice would be clear. 😅 rap up : 1) Peugeot 3008 second gen revelorionized french auto industry. the interior is a mastery in ergonomics and visual design / artistry 💯

Yeah I dont like how this was presented too, I own 3008 and it doesnt show much more about this car... This car is really awesome!!! Yeah little pricey than those cheap Chinese cars, but you can never buy class... The classy reputation, the looks, iba talaga !
