Video never really does a trail justice, would love to see these hills in person. I run a 22' rmax2 LE and so far it's held up great. Planning a Hatfield trip later this year so this might be a stop for us.

Hey Guy, lol. I had to...lol. You can see all the trails from where you were at...loved the flag! Bald Knob open to the public? Really enjoyed the video...keep them coming!

Yes bald knob is open to the public. It may be apart of a new trail system opening up in Kentucky. We will see

I was just there this past Weekend. I can’t believe how rutted out that climb is now. There are two rock ledges that you must navigate over.

At 6:51, if you look to off to the left, in the background. There is a nice hill climb with a turn @ the bottom and what looks to be the next set of poles in the power line. Got any video of that hill?

No I don’t think so.

That's sketchy looking on that last climb. But the view is definitely worth it. And, yes, I'm scared of heights too. If it's true a YXZ rolled off, I can see it happening especially at low speeds. Put a heavy flywheel in mine and will test it as soon as able.
@Ltr450jeremy2 жыл бұрын
U hit it with a little speed your yxz will dominate that hill

To date I have broken all 4 axles on my XTR. Broke 3 in an area (Interlake SRA, Indiana) where I've never broken a single axle before. Rocky wash that you have to cross perpendicular to the way it flows, and at the bottom you have to cut your steering to one side or the other to exit it. If you have a weak or worn axle, you'll find it in there. Busted both fronts, and one rear in that area, each in separate events. The forth rear axle gave it up as I turned sharp on a concrete pad, turning left, the right-rear let go. These machines definitely are under-axled. Some will say, "by design", so the diffs don't go instead but, that's hogwash...in that event, unspool that rear-end for one, but two, how about beefing-up the diffs AND the axles to meet the machine? Obviously, an engineering oversight that the customer will likely always be the one that suffers from. I'll probably die of old age before the dealer gets around to this thing, so I have taken donor axles from our LE, and now it sits waiting to be harvested to death. Good video though! These machines could easily be the best multisport, if Yam starts some real damage-control, by fixing the obvious blunders in engineering. They got it right in so many areas with this thing, while at the same time dropping the ball in critical, KEY areas..."a chain is as strong as it's weakest link". No question though, so long as the axles hold, this thing is a goat!

I agree 100 percent. I’ve abused my RS1. 4500 brutal miles. I’ve whipped it around blacktop corners like a goal cart. Still all axles are stock
