Welcome to our new podcast series called Rugby Ascendant! The bearded Chris Wyatt is a familiar face on KZfaq and his love for South African rugby is wellk=-known. We grabbed the chance to start chatting to him on a regular basis and this Episode 2, is the first where we discuss rugby matters specifically.

I appreciate the colonel’s passion for South African rugby. This discussion reminds me of when I was a child, listening to my father and Oom Gert reviewing a match between Northern Transvaal and the Griekwas in the Currie Cup final that Griekwas won.

What about a loose trio, JC Pretorius, psdt and Cameron Hanekom for boks and bulls 9 and 10. Also tight 5. If, if they perform the same as last weekend.

Peterson is the only guy who won a final, not playing in a final. The Bulls played in a final two years ago and lost

Thank goodness we have rugby people like Mr Wyatt who call a spade a spade......the ref and TMO was atrocious. My question for Tappe Henning......This Ben Whitehouse (TMO)....he was the same TMO in the previous match between these 2 teams.....when the Arendse decapitation happened right in front of him, no red card, no yellow, no penalty. If there is an actual match report about the officials after a match, how on earth can this same TMO be in charge of a URC semifinal?

MW... Devon Williams is a good backup for fullback. He was one of the stars in the Pumas team at 15. As for the Stomers.. SFM should settle at 10 and keeping playing Willemse at 15. And yes BJD aka PSDT

I think it’s 55% for Bulls and 45% Glasgow, not 50/50 and definitely not 80/20

Remember the Scots beat the Munster boys in Ireland now they beat the Africans in Africa and they had to travel for 14 hours and at altitude 😮

Bulls are strong favourites with Scots have to fly and play at altitude, but with all the expectation on the Bulls come the pressure. Did the Bulls played their final last week? If the Bulls scrum like last week, the Scots need a miracle

@@Valhalla88888 I will describe the Scots resounding losses in the RWC 36-14 & 18-3 to IRE / SA resembling more of a massacre than a close 5 point victory margin last night on a game that could go either way. I am happy that youre Scots finally have something to shout about because your are my 3rd favourite international team.

@@orlandosadie6283 Glasgow dominated that 2nd half. They should've won going away. Only a tight AF overturn and Horne missing a pen kept Bulls in that game. Glasgow had more than twice as many meters, line breaks and defenders beaten on the same number of carries. The fact that game came down to a 5m line out/maul? Was almost a travesty not to mention that throw wasn't remotely straight. Glasgow won despite facing so many obstacles.
